JD nods and goes to get them breakfast sorted out. He makes some coffee and rummages through the fridge, settling on making french toast and eggs.

"Babe, make yourself food, I'm not hungry." She told him as she shut her laptop and got up to get showered and dressed, just wanting a chilled out day

JD frowns a little but still makes her a little just incase. He sits down to start eating.

She got back downstairs and rubbed his shoulders gently, turning the TV on and smiled seeing they had some old Western playing, "You ever been out to California?" She asked him quietly

JD looks at her and shakes his head. "No, why?" He asks and watches her. He takes a sip of his coffee and eans back.

She smiled some, "You ever been on a horse?" She giggled and rubbed his back some, kissing the top of his head.

JD laughs a little and nods. "I had to learn when they wanted me to work in central park when I first started." He tells her.

She nodded some and smiled, pecking his cheek, "Perfect... I know where we're going on our honeymoon." She winked at him, "But first we gotta plan the wedding part." She smiled, going to get some juice

JD laughs and watches her. "Do I get to know about this plan?" He asks and smiles at her. He hold sher close when she comes back.

She shook her head, "You leave it all to me." She giggled and sat down on his lap, rubbing his hand gently. She glanced up as the news came on and sighed heavily when it started covering the story of what happened yesterday at the office, rubbing at her face a little and turning it off.

JD frowns and pulls her close. He kisses her head softly and rubs her back. “It’s gonna be okay.” He murmurs. “How about we look at some venues?” He asks soflty.

She nodded some and moved to clear his plates before sitting on his lap and rest her head on his shoulder, holding onto him tightly. “How many people do we want there? I have a really big family.” She pointed out.

JD kisses her head and rubs her back softly. “I’m just initiating my mom and some guys from the station so I think invent your whole family will work.” He assures her and smiles at her.

She bit her lip and looked at him a little frowning. “Honey... when I say my whole family I’m talking like 50 people.” She mumbled frowning some.

JD looks at her. “Plus mine will be 56. I think we can afford to have 56 people at our wedding.” He murmurs and rubs her back softly.

She bit her lip. “You’re not gonna worry over it being lopsided?” She asked him worriedly.

JD looks at her and shrugs. “Doesn’t really matter to me. I have six people I want to be there. I’d rather that then trying to make it even with people I don’t want there.” He murmurs.

She shook her head “No I mean.... if I could wind that down to six on my side?” She asked him quietly. “Or at least ten? Would you prefer that?” She asked him softly.

JD shakes his head. “No. They’re your family. If you want them there I want them to be there.” He murmurs.

She just nodded a little and kissed his cheek then let him get on with looking at venues, still curled up on his lap and holding him tightly.

JD smiles and kisses her head. He watches her and smiles. “We thinking outdoors or indoors?”

“Indoors. Unless you wanna go somewhere there’s always good weather.” She mumbled and yawned a bit. “What about... when we had that weekend off together. Just before you went undercover the first time and we went away to that hotel upstate. They do weddings there. It was gorgeous.” She reminded him quietly.

JD smiles and nods. “I’m good with that place.” He murmurs and looks it up. He rubs her back softly and sends them an email to get a quote for how much it would be.

She frowned a little and held onto him tightly as a few moments from yesterday ran across her mind, “But why don’t we ask a few places here in the city as well.... we could always have the reception at Marks bar.” She murmured.

JD nods a little. “Yeah sure.” He murmurd and smiles at her. He rocks her gently and watches her. “I can’t wait to see you. You’re gonna be beautiful.”
