hey there!
i'm the astrologer, any pronouns, twenty-seven years old, living in EST. i've been roleplaying for sixteen years now, all over the web, and i only type like this because folks tell me that i'm intimidating otherwise. outside of roleplay, i'm currently attending university for my second degree, have obligations due to therapy (thanks, mental illness!), and do some volunteer work on the side. i was planning on making this monster of an interest check using some of the many beauties coded by uxie, but i decided against it. for now.
while i have an interest in fandoms and other original concepts, i'm really getting back into the world of late 2000s to early 2010 horror. i'm talking higurashi, corpse party, misao, witch's house, mad father, ib, etc. i'd really like to write my own plot akin to those, but using american university students (pls spare the youth) instead. i have a ton of ocs, some of which i'll list below, and i love to play more than one at a time! i think it'd be really fun to write about our character(s) getting trapped in another world and having to solve a mystery of our own making to break a curse or something like that!

rules.
- please send me a DM of substance! tell me about you, your triggers, which character(s) you like, any ideas you have, etc!
- do not: metagame, powerplay, godmod, or force romance onto my characters (if you don't know what these are, ask me!).
- hard nos: incest, rape, bestiality, pedophilia, graphic animal abuse, graphic eye horror, nsfw. things can be implied though!
- dark themes will be found here (violence, addiction, mental illness, etc), but not glorified in the slightest.
- do not ask for my discord, please! too many bad experiences on that front.
- romance is 1000% optional, lgbtqia+ and het ships both are welcome.
- would prefer to write with folks over the age of twenty-one!
- mary sues and gary stus are boring, please don't play one.
- only interested in writing in threads or PMs rn.
- ghost & one-liner friendly!

- anime-styled FCs only.
- i do not own any of the art (except seth's fc)!
- all are over the age of eighteen, most will be in their early to mid twenties.
- you can make certain requests towards them if you'd like (i have full permission to deny these)!
- many of my characters have abilities or magic, let me know if you'd like for that to appear our plot or not!
- i must be allowed to play multiple characters (4-10) in one Roleplay (you can play as many or few as you'd like).
- all of my characters are pansexual by default though some are strictly gay or lesbian (inquire who, if interested).
- i will not provide full character sheets for them, but i'd be happy to tell you more about any of them upon request!
- i will get annoyed if you question my ability to play a full cast. i'm a grown-up, i can handle it, promise.
- Aidan Palmer: A chronically exhausted college student with a love for music. Childhood friends with Amsel.
- Anne Hopkins: A young woman with a dream of owning her own cafe. Recently got out of a bad relationship.
- Arthur Amsel "Amsel": A prickly young man that despises those around him. The sole exception for his ire is his childhood friend, Aidan.
- Archer Koval: A mysterious mute with strong survival instincts and many vices. Usually has his nose burrowed in a book.
- Ashton Argyris: A mischievious artist with a knack for breaking rules. . And laws. Chronically ill.
- Blake Campbell: A friendly and hardworking Australian with severe insomnia. "Best friends" with Levi.
- Colton Alexander: A dumb albeit good-natured young man studying culinary arts. Best friends with Monty.
- Dakota Arató: The unfriendly and socially cruel older brother of Seth. A sharp-tongued tattoo artist.
- Henrietta Valen: A chaotic and rebellious girl who thinks she's stronger than she actually is. Obsessed with an MMO.
- Jordan Welsh: A MeTuber dedicated to unraveling the secrets of the supernatural. Mostly hides behind his own camera.
- Levi Savill: A popular streamer known for his sweet and flirtatious personality. In reality, though, he's cold and spiteful. Not friends with Blake.
- Miles Sterling: A level-headed young man studying medicine. Working on solving a mystery of his own.
- Makao "Maki" Kaaihue: A lifelong athlete with some level of psychic power. From a military family that travels often.
- Montgomery "Monty" Astoria: The sole heir of the Astoria wealth. Self-centered and ignorant, but tries his best.
- Nora Hawthorne: The middle child of the Hawthorne family. Obsessed with anime, memes, and. . Questionable anime content.
- Phoenix West: A chuuni who believes that, someday, she'll save the world. The face of Jordan Welsh's MeTube channel, MysticDirector.
- Rei Hawthorne: The youngest child of the Hawthorne family. Questionably the most sane, despite taking medication for his own demons.
- Seth Arató: The socially awkward and technologically obsessed younger brother of Dakota. Sometimes acts like a completely different person. .
- Selene Fournier: A self-proclaimed "heartbreaker" with a row of ex-boyfriends and girlfriends. Secretly a nerd, but you didn't hear that from me.
- Sonja Balashov: A medium that will break your kneecaps if you ask for a "fortune telling". Skilled with botany and loves plants.
- Taylor King: A well-known fashionista and influencer. Can be a little intense at times, but never has any ill will towards anyone.
- Tyler "Ty" Hawthorne: The oldest child of the Hawthorne family. Always gets pulled into his younger siblings' (Nora's) shenanigans.
- Wilhelm "Will" Chatham: A young man trying to escape his mother's shadow. Timid and reserved, but slowly learning to gather his courage.
