I love history - a vast variety, although Ancient Rome and the Age of Reason (France, England, and the Americas) particularly tickle my fancies.

I can be a bit pedantic.

I'm a little rusty (a year away from regular writing can do that to a thinker).

I can definitely get down with a bit of magical realism. I relish folktales and allusions. Bring them to me.
