hi i'm rome, but you can call me katelyn. i've been roleplaying for about five or six years now? which means i have experience, but this website is so fancy i have no idea what im doing lol. um i dance, volunteer at a hospital, etc. etc. but i won't drag on about my personal life.


i'll rp just about any genre as long as there's an interesting plot, and i almost exclusively play males? i do all kinds of pairings, but i'll only play females for fxf relationships oops. i'm used to averaging 500+ words a post, but most of the people here seem to have more chill than i do, so i might start writing less idk


anyway it's nice to meet y'all, i just made this thread bc i wanted an excuse to test out the bbcode (it's a+ btw i like it)

Stoked to have you here, Katelyn! Love your username. There are plenty of users willing to write such lengths with you for a story, just make sure to mention your preferences when posting a search thread, and you'll weed out those who'll meet your standards! I've found, personally, more casual pursuits can be a nice break from constant novellas (I write about 7+ paragraphs myself!)

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum


They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.


If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.
