  -Photokinesis; Yldir is the god of light and has control over light in general.
  
  
  -Biokinesis; Being a god, Yldir has the ability to change form at will. He mostly uses the form of an old man, however.
  
  
  -Quintekinesis; Like most gods, Yldir could create life.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  -Movement; Yldir could disappear into a form of none but light and disappear, appearing at a different place. While in this form, he shoots up into the sky and lands wherever he wants, like an arrow of light. He uses this ability when going to places far, not always, however.

Critique Start...


Starting from the 'Introduction', I really can't tell if "Yldir is the king of the gods and the god of light and of goats and satyrs." Is his title or that's really all there is to say about him. God characters are weird for me because... Well.. They're gods.


Basics. We get a fair deal of information. I see that this God is pretty open to trying new things. Though, I don't think the Sexual Orientation is really needed since he can practically do what he wants anyway. Y'know, I'd love to see "King of The Gods" to be put on a resume at some point if he ever applies for a job. I feel like there could be a bit more here... Maybe his fears, nemesis' and likes/dislikes. Simple stuff like that.


Appearance. The picture does a good job of show this, though if he is a god, he can really just be anything, which it is established there... (Could change). He is a god. Not much else to really say on that part...


Moving onto the Magic/Spells District.


Being the God Of Light makes him the King of The Gods as well? Or is it the other way around? Regardless, Light is a very strange tool, though what Light is changes depending on the world that is established. "Control over light in general" is far too open ended and really lacks any sort of creativity that could otherwise be invested.


He can create life. Indeed, a god.


Can change form. He chooses to be a bisexual old man.


His traveling method is basically teleportation, though he is a God. What more is there to say?

Hes seemingly an immortal being without any reason for others to care for him other than that he is a god. A King of The Gods and the "God of Light", yet it is never established why or what declared him King Of The Gods. If this was a work in progress, I'd understand but since that was not established, this is what we're left with. God's can be interesting. Green Mythology has some of the most interesting Gods because of their relations to one-another. When reading this character, I'm just reading some basic information. The format is pretty plain and could be improved upon, adding a tad more detail. There is no backstory. There is no lore. No history. No interaction. I don't even know what to expect of him. We know what he is capable of but no justification. It just seems like a WIP, in which case I'll rewrite this otherwise. I do love old characters though. We just need to know more about him and that's where the true core of a god comes in.
