Realistic or Modern Yaoi School thingy

Kaoru nodded, then went back to drawing in his notebook. He was looking forward to not having really anything to do for the little bit left of class. He popped in one ear phone and started listening to some Japanese traditional music. Reminded him of home. He just smiled to himself and doodled some architecture and whatnot.

Ronan snapped out of his Shakespeare-induced daze and looked around, from the looks of it, he'd missed a lot of class time. "E-eh..." His eye twitched for a moment as he realized what was happening, First day of school and I'm already zoning out?! This isn't a good sign... He slipped the bookmark back between the pages of Othello and looked around once more, class was almost over and he knew the name of not one person in the classroom, he couldn't just ask... No, that'd be awkward as all hell, and that's not how he wanted school to start. For the next minute or so he sat silently with his thoughts and waited for the bell or whatever sounded and let him leave this awful feeling for another day, and he was doing it again.

Procrastinating.

Agh I suuuuck.

Richard sighed as the room basically stayed quiet with only a few students in the back having a conversation. His dark gaze shifted to the "silent" students, one of just listening to his music, another one was doodling in hja notebook, and the other one was reading. Richard looked closer to what the guy was reading, Shakespeare, interesting. Richard decided that he might as well try talking to someone. "Hey, I didn't catch your name, what is it again?" He asked Ronan leaning toward his desk.

Ronan was beginning to drift again when he heard a voice coming from somewhere nearby and turned his head to realize this guy was talking to him and became instantly startled by his presence, as he'd neglected to expect what he hadn't expected, and for just a moment both his brain and his tongue failed him and shocked him into some half conscious state of being that was still somewhat caught in William Shakespeare's net of interest. "Th-thou art mistaken, I-" He stopped, paused a moment to regain his composure before he spoke again, he didn't want to make a fool of himself, "Do excuse my... Outburst." He said with a faint, lingering embarrassment on his breath, "I, well, I didn't actually introduce myself... Great way to start off my senior year, I'm Ronan... Ronan O'vaire, mm, well, I suppose that sounded... Formal, oddly enough, oh, I don't believe I caught your name, either..." I must sound like such an idiot... Wait, I am an idiot, what am I thinking? The man sat for a short period of time in an awkward silence, though no less that a second his sudden dread of making the day worse drug it out like a shot duck in the jaws of a hound, bringing it back to it's master in record time so that the moment wouldn't last nearly as long as he feared it might.

Being amused, Richard carefully eyed Ronan as he had a little outburst; he had to bite his tongue in order to keep himself from laughing. "I didn't mind your outburst," he reassured him with a light chuckle, "I'm guessing you really like Shakespeare to begin speaking the language of the bard." Richard leaned back against his desk as Ronan interested himself, "Well it's nice to male your aquantance Ronan, I'm Riichard." He said not bothering to give his last name it seemed to formal to do so.

Ronan glanced down a moment to think about how he'd word his next response, a tinge of rosy embarrassment blooming on his cheeks, I need to watch how I'm talking... "Yes... It's ridiculous, really." He spoke with faint and fading hesitation, the anxiety of actually speaking to another human being coming and going in waves like tsunamis in his brain and making ruins of the beaches of his mind. "Ah, a pleasure to meet you as well, R-Richard..." Oh, how he wished someone would rip his tongue out, throw it to the wolves and sentence him to eternal damnation, it'd be better than suffering the tedious life of a teenager, let alone a teenager with secrets and pessimistic tendencies. Why?! Can't even talk to people anymore. He pressed his middle and index fingers against his forehead, sighing quietly and stopping when the book caught his eye and he wished he'd stuck with William instead of trying to make acquaintances.

Richard blinked softly as his dark brown gaze observed Ronan, he was an odd guy that was for sure. Awkward and full of nerves, but he had to admit it was kind of funny. "Nah, I don't think it's ridiculous. I say it would just be much dedication and cool in a nerdy way," he said with a light laugh as he pulled his chair over and took a seat by the side of Ronan's desk. He drummed his fingers against the wooden desk as he softly hummed to himself, "Sorry for interrupting your reading by the way. I just thought it was odd for someone to be reading in a math class." Richard said with a small laugh and a smile.

"N-Nerdy?" His head whipped around at the word, Well that's a new one... When he thought about it, he was a huge nerd, a huge nerd, he couldn't really deny it, "Can't really... Say you're wrong..." He was beginning to fade into another awkward daze when the faint sound of a chair's feet moving across the floor entered his ears quickly followed by the sudden sound of Richard's desk instrumental and humming, which startled Ronan enough to raise his heart rate as he looked back over at the guy and listened to what he had to say. "Actually, I'd already stopped reading, no need to apologize..." Oh, right... This is math class... "Guess it is a little odd, isn't it?" Ronan laughed a bit, it wasn't as though he hated math, he'd just been waiting for class to start when ba-bam! He found himself in a class full of strangers and then in a conversation with one, how odd. "Kinda... Forgot I was here..." He gave a nervous chuckle, "What a way to... Start off senior year, eh?"

"Well it's not that bad of a start, it could be worse." Richard joked with a small laugh, "At least there never work on the first day of school, do e it's just a pass day." He said simoly proping his elbow on the table to lean on it. Richard was glad that the guy, Ronan, wasn't flat out ignoring him and was actually attempting to talk to him. He seems interesting, he thought simply, well anyone that reads Shakespeare especially in math class is interesting to me. "So what class do you have next, if you don't mind me asking?" Richard asked with a soft smile, if anything he could make a new friend today.

Ronan nodded slightly with a light chuckle, "Yeah, I guess I'm just a little..." The man's voice drifted off as his head dropped a tad to the right and his eyes met with the somewhat dirty floor, "... Panicked..." He began thinking, "I'm not quite sure what class I have next, honestly..." He glanced over at his bag and thought a bit more, Shiii... It's in my car. He groaned in frustration and glanced over at the clock, which had kept ticking as per usual, he couldn't remember when the class would end or his next class, hell, he was starting to forget which book he'd been reading. "Ahhh, this might prove to be a longer day than I'd thought..." Ronan chuckled.

Levi hurried down the hall with a stack of paper and books precariously clutched in his arms. His blue button up untied, his black bow tie crooked, and his gray vest unbuttoned - he was a mess. It wasn't until too late did he realize that his shoes were untied as well. The items that he had been clinging to flew from his arms, scattering all over the floor as he crashed against it. His head was cushioned by his arms, which had instantly been thrown up to be used as a protecting barrier against the cold linoleum flooring. Once the initial shock of having just launched himself three feet forward was gone, Levi lifted his head and glanced around, scanning to see if anyone was nearby before he scrambled to gather his papers.

Waking up late on a work day was one thing. Spilling coffee in the car and having to go back into the apartment to change were two more. Realizing he missed the freeway exit to get to the school was another. All played large factors in his missing his first period of the day. The panic of his morning had barely given him enough time to call ahead and say a substitute teacher would be needed. Groaning, he reached over to pick up his blank grading book.

"You okay?" a voice asked. Riley had a small smile from watching the man fling himself forward accidentally, but was genuinely concerned as he bent down and picked up a few stray sheets. "So who are you? I'm Riley, Riley Hendricks."

Richard couldn't help but laugh likely at Ronan's unpreparedness. "Well, hopefully today's just a fluke. Or your day will get better." He replied with a light smile and he turned his attention to the clock. It was less then ten minutes to go until the next class. Hopefully the rest of the classes were like this one and they didn't have to do anything.

Levi glanced up before quickly looking back down to continue what he had been doing. He gave a nod and then stood, waiting for the other papers to be held out. "Thank you. I'm Mr. Ubrieco, but students mostly call me Mr. U or just U."

"No prob. Would you happen to be the same Mr. U who teaches my English class?" Riley asked, before glancing at his phone, "Oh- crap- not long in first period is there? I should hurry-- see you later, okay?"

Riley gave a wave as he ran off to the math hallway, finding his brother's room and knocking on the door. When Adrian heard the knocking, he was surprised-- all his students were there, so...?

He answered the door and was attack-hugged by none other than Riley.

"What are you doing here?" he growled, detaching himself from the animated teen, who replied, "Didn't you hear? I got transfered to your class, Ay."

With that, he turned to the other students with a huge grin, "I know I'm late, but I'm Riley Hendricks, this guy's little brother. Pleasure to meetcha all!"

Levi blinked as he watched the student run off after asking the question and couldn't help but think that it had been rude. "Ask a question and don't even wait for an answer. Great idea," he mumbled. Sighing, he knelt down and set his stuff on the ground before tying his shoe.

Darren glanced up when he noticed something moving in the corner of his eye. He focused his gaze on the door, blinking as he watched some student become rather familiar with the teacher. Giving a low blink, he reached up to tug an ear bud out, curious as to what he had missed. When the person introduced himself as the teacher's brother, Darren tilted his head to the side.

"Yeah... I just hope it's not like last year." Ronan sighed and in moments he thunked both heels one-by-one down onto the table and leaned back in his chair, "Eh, with my luck I'm about to-" Of course. Right then was when a new student entered the room and scared the crap out of Ronan, sending him back first onto the floor with limbs flailing in his panic. "Ohgod ow!" He blurted, and just laid there for a second, sighed, and pressed his fingers against his temples, "Haha, lovely, lovely, nice to meet you!" He said in a strained voice as he crawled out of an awkward position for the second time that day.

(I'm typing about Ronan leanin' in the chair and predicting a fall when in comes Nanners!)

(What about Nanners? xD )

"Are you okay?" Riley asked, laughing, "People just keep falling here, don't they, Ay?"

"Address me properly or not at all," Adrian replied, muttering under his breath, "Preferably the latter."

Riley rolled his eyes, then picked a seat somewhat near the faller

Ronan sighed, "Nah, I'm just clumsy... And cursed." He looked up at Riley, who'd sat not too far away and his face twisted as he stifled a laugh, by stifled I of course mean he laughed heartily despite his usual antisocial behavior, he'd created quite the scene in his head and it kept him laughing as he put his seat back up and nearly fell again when he went to sit down.
