He can easily become passionate about something and likes to put everything he's got into it. A halfhearted success is a failure to Hiroshi. He's genuinely kind to those he meets and doesn't mind doing things like holding open doors for people and carrying heavy stacks of books for those that look like their having a hard time. Newspaper Club!

"The Sakura Chronicle"

What it is we do

As the newspaper club, it is our job to get the news to the public of Sakura High! We find some interesting topics to bring into light, spread information about upcoming events, put some wonderful students in the spotlight, and even share some art and writings pieces from fellow students!

Positions

Journalist - These guys go out and find things to write about! They are the ones who do just about all of the writing and the ones with a knack for finding a good scoop.


Editor - They edit any grammatical mistakes, review what has been written, and put it all together in a newspaper form.


Photographer - They usually tag along with the journalists and snap pictures to further expand on a story


(With only one photographer on the team, it is obvious everything will not be professionally photographed. The bigger and more attractive stories usually prioritize the pictures. Journalists and Photographer are to discuss where he will go and when.)

History: Matthew Jones lived all his life in Boston Massachusetts where he studied at East Boston High School in hopes of being accepted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He signed up for the Japanese student exchange program in order to have a chance to go to Japan and study the cultural and technological differences between America and Japan so that he can fulfill the requirements to enroll in MIT and become a robotics scientist.


Personality: Matthew Jones was born with autism spectrum disorder. This makes him kind of anti-sociable, he doesn't speak unless he needs to or to respond in a straight forward way. He doesn't express many emotions, most of the time he would be in his usual silent demeanor. He is a logical and rational thinker, always picking the most efficient way possible when solving certain problems. He has a huge fascination with technology which leads to his friends and classmates to give him the nickname known as "Mr. Machine" back at East Boston High School which describes most of who he is, but despite most of his unemotional acts, Matthew still cares for his loved ones even if he doesn't shows it openly.


Other: He is always packed with many technological gadgets and devices, from miniature camera drones to back up smartphone batteries.

But the doctors recommended caution and told the parents they would hold her for a few more day's to find the cause of the child's weakness. It turn's out when Mizuki was born, her mother transmitted a blood born disease to her. An acute infection of HIV or "Human immunodeficiency virus". The disease nearly ended her new life, but pulled through due to some miracle. Now, Mizuki constantly strives to enhance and maintain a healthy lifestyle to combat the disease she was born with.

Very passionate and stubborn, when she starts something she always sees it through to the end and always makes sure it's done right. Slightly socially-awkward, usually will not initiate conversations with others she doesn't know unless they approach her first.

She's had a few close friends over the years, but now hangs out with them more out of habit than friendship. She does, however, have a close relationship with other member's of the clubs she is involved in. Her mother owns a little ramen shop and spends most of the time working and not as much time getting to know her daughter. Hana understands, and does not hold it against her. Hana herself has an internship at the local newspaper. She has not heard from her father since he left and resents him for this.


Personality: In a word: emotional. Strong feelings (not necessarily sadness) often cause her to cry. Hana resents this. She wears her heart on her sleeve while she'd rather have it hidden inside. She is wary, but easily persuaded by her friends. She is a very hard worker and spends most of her time doing club activities, which she is very passionate about. She has abandonment issues stemming from the lose of her father. She doesn't like to be ignored (unless it is self imposed). If this does happen, she'll grow very depressed until someone talks to her. Hana is not good with romance. If there's someone she's interested in, she'll deliberately cross paths with them, but nothing further will develop.

Other: A part of her wants to be a sleuth and figure out who the murderer but another part of her knows it's stupid for her to try.
