Fandom X-Men: Sentinels (Reboot)

The Sentinals are now in control of the world's government. Mutants and those allied with mutants will be killed on sight. A large majority of the mutant population is dead, though a few groups remain, you belong to one of those groups.


Stark Industries:


Stark industries allied themselves with mutants and were put under heavy tax constraints causing bankruptcy. Since then, the Starks haven't been seen.


S.H.I.E.L.D.


SHIELD was forced to abandon all projects involving mutants which meant disbanding The Avengers. Director Nick Fury was imprisoned, location unknown. SHIELD now operates as an investigative force, looking for mutants.


The Avengers:


Bruce Banner was abducted and experimented on. Though official records are lost. The Hulk is presumed dead.


Thor's location is unknown, though reports have been heard of lightning storms damaging Sentinels.


Henry Pym died mysteriously in a car accident shortly after the Sentinels were introduced for active duty.


Steve Rodgers is being held in stasis, though his location is unknown.


Natasha Romanov operates with SHIELD currently. She now works as head of SHIELD espionage


Tony Stark disappeared after his company went under. There has been no trace of him since

"Johnny" Storm was murdered in a New York alleyway by what the police suspect to be a mugger.


Susan Richards was reported missing a few days before Stark Industries declared bankruptcy.


"Ben" Grimm was killed in a confrontation with Dr.Doom shortly after the disappearance of Susan and Reed Richards.


Reed Richards was reported missing a few days before Stark Industries declared bankruptcy.

Jessica Drew was killed in a confrontation with Venom and The Sentinels. Her body was never recovered.

Peter Parker is presumed dead after falling from a 35-story building, his body was never recovered.

Name: Ada McKenzie


Age: 25


Bio: Ada grew up in a loving home, her parents supported her individuality and for the most part she lived in a bubble of safety and ignorance. It wasn’t until the sentinels began taking over, destroying mutants like her that the harsh realities of the world truly came into view. Her parents helped her find a group of mutants to hide away with and ever since then she’s been her groups designated “medic.”


Personality: Ada is, in a nutshell, very timid and wary of newcomers that she comes across. She’s compassionate to a fault and would do anything to help those she cares about. When it comes to confrontations she’s much more comfortable, and better suited, to hanging back. She’ll rarely be the one ever leading the charge and tends to shrink away even from simple verbal spats. Despite her timid nature she can always be seen waiting for others with a smile.


Powers(If mutant): Ada is capable of healing wounds, or better yet, taking their injuries away from them. When Ada, say, heals a bullet wound to someone’s leg then she will end up with the wound in the exact spot on her own leg, only in a healed form. The other person is left pain and mark free while Ada bares their scar, and their pain. Due to the unique way in which Ada heals, she must be careful about exactly what injuries she’ll take on. If some internal injury would more than likely kill someone then, no doubt, it would also kill Ada in the process of healing.


Her power is not just defensive but can also be used as an offense in the most dire of situations. Ada is capable of pushing the injuries she’s taken on, to someone else. This means that if she were being attacked then she is capable of moving a burn scar onto her attacker. The scar would move onto its new host in a fresh form, the tissue no longer scarred but burning and peeling as if they were being lit by fire at that very moment. The large downside is that she must have some sort of physical contact with both healing and attacking. If she loses contact then nothing would be achieved.

Appearance:

Ada stands around 5’9” and is quite thin for someone of her build, giving off the impression of sickness. Her short, dark hair frames green eyes and her body is covered in numerous scars, the most noticeable of them are on her right arm and face. A deep, pink scar tears across her left cheek; a knife wound she pulled from a civilian she remembers. The other is a disfiguring burn scar on her right arm that stretches from her shoulder down to her wrist; a wound from a teammate that was sustained in a mission gone wrong. Along with those she’s littered with cuts, burns, bullet wounds and even has a slight limp from healing a broken leg.​

Name: Relena Sullivan


Age: 24


Bio:


Birth. Parents. School. Graduation. End of the world. Just the general order of life that Relena and so many others have grown-up with. Relena had a rather normal life for a mutant. Her parents knew that mutants existed in their family, and witnessed the discrimination placed upon them. So when little Relena lit up her first Barbie campfire outside, with just a squint, the Sullivan’s decided it was time to make changes. So much pressure was placed on Relena growing up to be ‘normal’, that she was given more leeway as a teenager to act out. That was typical behavior for her age, wasn’t it? Sneaking out, piercings, cutting class, hair dye. All was met with a good job, did you melt your eyeliner with a match or a look?


But things started to change. The world started to change. And soon her parents were gone and Relena was on the run from Sentinels or whatever else was going on in the now messed up world. But she grew up. Straightened up. And is determined to make life work again.


Personality:


Relena has never once in her life been a social butterfly. Instead, she is more of the begrudging bumblebee. She enjoys being part of a group, and being around people, but she might not always show it to those around her. A snarky comment here, and blunt and all to honest reply there, they are all the ways she shows she cares for others. It’s an unfortunate package deal that comes with her trust.


Outside social interactions, Relena is a spitfire, pun partly intended. She will light your hair on fire or leave you to save yourself in a heartbeat if you cross her. Since the Sentinels, consideration is a luxury she leaves for few. And patience was not always her strongest trait to begin with.


Powers:


Pyrokinesis, would be the closest technical name for her mutant powers. Close but not quiet. Relena is better suited at creating blasts of fire of various amounts, as long as she has a visual of the area she is aiming for. Her ability to manipulate this fire is limited once it catches however. Though she has shown signs of being able to control flames, it is most likely a deeper part of her power that has not yet awaken. Instead, she relies on well-timed spitfires.


Her abilities do have a price however. As wonderful as it would be to create a fireball the size of the empire state building… it would probably kill her. Blasting fire is like expelling oxygen from her lungs. The bigger the flames, the more air recovery is needed. This has led to dizziness or even passing out if she is too trigger happy with burning the place down.

She’s pretty handy picking a lock or two.


Appearance:

Short at only a 5’ 1” stature, Relena could pass as a older child with the right get up. She cannot be called lithe with her wide shoulders and slender limbs. Or athletic. Her body has enough power to survive, and that’s about it.


She keeps a silver piercing in her right eyebrow, despite the warnings someone is going rip it out one of these days; and her hair dyed purple through stubborn attempts to showcase at least some of her personality. All pointless, but important nonetheless.

Name: Jayce Black


Age: 26


Bio: When Jayce was a kid, about 6, is parents felt as though he should be able to protect himself so they signed him up for martial arts lessons. Jayce learned incredibly fast and mastered it very quickly due to his enhanced physical condition. When he was thirteen he found out about his powers when he was trapped between a gangster that had killed his friend while they were walking in an alley, and a fence. When the gangster pulled out a pistol and started to shoot at Jayce, the billets were absorbed into his body. The bullets were sent back to the gangster and they killed him. Jayce noticed what he had done and he ran to his home as fast as he could. HE told his parents what happened and they told him that he was no longer their son. Just a monster. A freak. Jayce found a fried that lived in the stress with him and they became each others guardians. Jayce with hi fighting an his friend with his connections. When the sentinels attacked, a sentinel found Jayce an his friend in an alley, the sentinel blasted his friend before Jayce could save him and Jayce destroyed the sentinel singlehandedly. He now lives to fight the sentinels.


Personality: Jayce is a silent but strong type. He will do anything for his friends and he will make sure nothing gets in the way of his friendship. If he sees a sentinel he will destroy it as soon as he can with as much destruction of the sentinel as he can make it. Jayce needs to be around people, he hates being alone. He goes by Black so no one will know his first name just because.


Powers(If mutant): Energy Manipulation.


Equipment(If applicable): Nothing.


Skills: acrobatics and fighting with his powers an martial arts.

Name: Elisa Folke


Age: 29 (looks more toward her early 20s)


Bio: She doesn't remember her real parents, whom had abandoned her to a church when she was little over 3 months, and barely remembers the string of foster homes she went through. She had love but she was a wild child before she realized how to control her strong urges to hunt, to go exploring and to test her fighting skills with whomever she could find. She did well enough in her studies at school, mostly a B grade student so many foster families didn't know why she was so rebellious.


She found one family when she was 16 that understood for the most part because they had had a mutant child of their own. They noticed what normal humans wouldn't, the slight glare to her eyes, the constant motion, her senses far better than their own and so forth. They also noticed that she healed a great deal faster than most would be able to. One night when they found her stabbed, collapsed on the back porch they were about to call the police when they noticed it was nearly half closed by the time they went for the phone. She was afraid then, but when they told her about their son being at the institute for mutants she was shocked at the love and acceptance in their voices.


She then learned to control herself more from then on, had something of a purpose and learned to blend in. She met her foster brother and they hit it off as fast friends, him being able to control fire. They stayed close when they grew up and moved out, creating their lives. She lost contact with her brother as the Sentinels came into force and then discovered her foster parents had been imprisoned for supporting the mutants. Never received any news of them after that.


Personality: When it comes to the fight she is right up in there, dealing as much damage as she can. However, out of combat she is more to herself, nice enough but almost shy. She has a slight temper and voices her opinions but doesn't really like to run the show.


Powers(If mutant): Minor healing factor, heightened senses


Equipment(If applicable): Since she looked up to Wolverine in his well known exploits she uses bladed fist weapons that are attached to vambraces. A double blade comes out from the top when she triggers it.

As grew up on the streets he learned how to survived the real world at a young age, At the age of 12, an altercation with Shield and Hydra that happened near him cause his powers to manifest. Noticed by Captain America, he was picked and trained by him. Captain America and Sy grew close like family.

When the sentinel initiative kicked in, Captain America did his best to keep Sy safe. He decided the best he could keep him safe is to go rogue. This worked til Captain got captured in an ambush. Now, Sy adventures by himself trying to Steve while surviving sentinel attacks.

Personality:

Sylvester Alexander Noble is not one to back down from something when he believes he’s right. He has a heart of gold and the nerve to take action when he feels something wrong is happening. Sy is a brave at heart, for whom anything’s possible because she has enough nerve.

Powers(If mutant):

Neon Manipulation

Make projectile and melee weapons out of neon energy and light.

He naturally builds neon energy, but it can be depleted to the point to where he has to let it build again.​

The suit given to him by Captain America. Code Name the 'Black Bat" this "Stark survival suit" is intended for advanced military use. Based on an advanced infantry armor system constructed by Tony Stark, the first layer of protection is an under suit with built-in temperature regulators designed to keep the wearer at a comfortable temperature in almost any condition. The second layer of protection consists of armor built over the chest, calves, thighs, arms, and back. This armor features a kevlar bi-weave that can stop slashing weapons and can also deflect any bullet short of a straight shot impact, and reinforced joints that allow maximum flexibility and mobility. The armor was then coated with a black latex material to dampen the user's heat signature, making it difficult to detect with night-vision equipment.
