Welcome to Camp Blackwood! In 1987 this camp has been built by Stewart J. Quik, a nature enthusiast who wanted to spread the joys of nature to others. Camp Blackwood is a three week-long overnight camp for ages 14-17. Our goal is simple: get kids outside and active! Campers enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, paddle-boarding, and forest games.

Camp description

The camp is surrounded by forest, near the shore of Lake Dewey, where many of the water activities take place. There are four cabins in total, one for the boys and one for the girls with one counselor cabin on each side. Each of the cabins have plenty of beds and between them are is the bathhouse. On the far right is the large main building known as the Big House. It is where our campers will check in every morning for a head count and see what activities are to happen. Besides it is the mess hall where delicious food will be serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner!




"Camp" Rules:
◇ Must use an OC
◇ You may be a camper or a counselor. Campers must be ages 13-17 and counselors must be ages 18-25.
◇ You may bring your own form or use the one provided.
◇ No godmodding.
◇ No text talk in character, only ooc.
◇ Avoid oneliners, try to get at least 2-3 lines in a post.
◇ Be respectful when ooc
◇ You may have 1-4 characters
◇ Please be active in the RP and give notice when you will be gone for a while. If you are gone for more than a week without notice, you will be kicked out.
◇ Comment "Summer Fun Out In The Sun" if you have read the rules.
