hiya! welcome to my little corner of the internet. i'm sol (any pronouns), a university student who spends way too much time watching horror movies and not enough time on homework. i took a writing hiatus in 2020 because of school, but i missed the community and i'm eager to find partners just as excited for long-term, character driven writing and exploring and expanding ideas into solid plots.
an aspiring writer, wannabe cool kid, and diehard horror fan. i love numetal music and indie rock, mothman and cartoon shows like clone high and infinity train. i love talking about my ocs, making playlists, and angst. word count wise, i write a minimum of three paragraphs and a maximum of a small novel. i tend to float around the website a few hours everyday, but i am human, and writer's block can be a bitch. regardless, i love finding new partners, chatting oorp, and writing something together we can both enjoy.
tldr: please be patient with me. college can get hectic, and real life can slow down my reply rate ic. that being said, i am 100% ghost friendly! no hard feelings.
my favorite genres and plots to write are action, thriller, horror, superpowers / metahumans and the supernatural. regardless of the pairing, i tend to use masc/male muses, but i'm down for any pairings and have a few female characters specific to plots. i'm a sucker for romance in the midst of plots, but i'm open to platonic and family-esque relationships as well! romance-wise, i enjoy slowburn, angst, and tropes with a twist.
i love talking ooc! talking about our muses, delving into ideas for plots, expanding relationships, or just getting to know each other! writing out replies to the actual roleplay can take a bit for me. i strive to reply at least twice a week, but will always communicate with you ooc, and will never push you for a reply. that being said, if you're interested in writing with me (and if i haven't totally scared you away), feel free to read the next three tabs to see my rules, plot ideas, and fandom concepts!

muse a and muse b wake one day to find that everyone has mysteriously disappeared. both characters, however, find it relatively easy to adjust to this sudden abandonment, not quite liking other people much anyway. the two begin to wander through their city, breaking into homes and digging through the things that people left behind, taking food and clothes and electronics from stores they would otherwise not be able to afford, and just generally messing around and having tons of fun. except, after a while, things take a turn for the worst. everyone who left returns, but they are not the same. perpetually smiling and seemingly oblivious to the fact that they had left their homes and jobs in the first place, they resume their lives as they were before. but after a while, they realize that muse a and muse b aren't like them . . . and that must be rectified.

the year is 2057, and the world is at a standstill. overpopulation and poverty has consumed the corners of the earth, and limited resources have forced even the most well-off politicians onto the streets. crime is at an all time high, and hope is dwindling for a once thriving civilization. not all is lost though, or so has been proposed by the united states government.
a class of college students embark on a trip to rural kentucky, under the guise of a school trip. the catch is, the town is empty the day they arrive. unbeknownst to them, they've become the random selection of a citywide experiment conducted by the government to test population control. an experiment where the students are tasked to kill each other until only one is left; if, after sixteen days, a winner is not declared, everyone dies (by way of explosive chips placed behind the jugular in the neck). one by one, each student is led away from the school, having been provided with survival packs and a random weapon. the game begins.
our muses are participants of the experiment, college students who have only passed each other in the halls or have shared a class together in the past? i would love to expand on their relationship over the sixteen days, how they work together or if one turns on the other, etc. it would be fun to double up as well and play with different dynamics or side characters!

when a small town in alaska is preparing for thirty days of complete darkness, this time it’s a little different and we don’t just mean a lot of the town people leaving for this harsh cycle. a group of vampires invades the town, taking advantage of the darkened and improved hunting conditions. after most of the town's people are killed off, the rest of population goes into hiding. with no way to call or get help from the outside world, it is up to the town's survivors to find a way to make through the month of darkness if they hope to survive.
inspired off the titular 2007 movie, i was hoping to explore the inner dynamics of our muses, possibly with one of them being a vampire themselves hunting down the vampires alongside the living? also establishing the abilities of the vampires, how to kill them, etc.
