"Y'don't say!?" Ili replied, another head sprouting from his shoulder to look at James.

"Nice to meetcha Minka! My name's Ili!" he beamed, grasping and shaking her hand instead of waiting for her to offer it.

Gorgonzola locked his eyes with the spider's; an invisible bolt of electricity seemed to flow between them...however, this was disrupted as soon as the girl's fish spit water at it; he was dismayed as the spider creature started to get angry; the feeling intensified as the girl fled! "Well, time for me to bolt before things get complicated..." Gorgonzola thought as he pulled out a life sized pepperjack sampler and placed it at his seat before running towards the door as fast as he could. If he was lucky, the spider would be distracted by the cheese, enabling Gorgonzola the escape of his lifetime! As he dashed through and closed the door, he let out a sigh of relief...

"I just hope that it'll be too busy eating that thing to care...by the way, why'd you ditch me? I could've been killed!" Gorgonzola said with mock indignition to the girl carrying the fish.

Looking up as the boy had followed her out, Nellie bowed her head. "I-i'm sorry..." Turning quickly, careful not to spill any more water, she took off at a very fast paced walk down the corridor, fully planning on finding a cabin that was empty, and locking herself in it alone until they reached their destination. Or at least, try not to mess up, or, bugger it, as Ross put it as she glanced down.

James smiled to Minka

"see? he's fine!"

he let Minka go in first

soon though, an announcement came through the speakers in the cabins and halls

"Arrival in 5 minutes, please have your belongings ready"

"W-wait, I was just...." Gorgonzola tried to explain himself, but by the time he was about to finish his sentence, the girl had swiftly walked away from him. "...Kidding. Wow, I really am bad at this sort of thing..." he thought as he made to follow the girl; however, once the announcement that the train would arrive at their destination soon, he sighed and reluctantly went to where his luggage was. After all, it wouldn't do to have his stuff missing or stolen!

Quickly finding a new place, Nellie set down the bowl, the book, and pulled out her wallet, a Ouji board designed thing. Flipping it open, she looked up as a voice came over from a box, saying that they would reach in 5 minutes. "Thank you, Mister-Box-Man." She said, a bit happily as she looked at it. Looking back at her wallet, she frowned, before turning it over and dumping it on the seat. Looking through it, she pulled out a little bracelet before piling everything back inside and tucking it away again.

Looking at Gullivan she frowned. "It's not my fault, your the one who spit water." The fish looked at her, "I know she was, but still, no need to be rude."

Minka paused in her ever present thoughts as James’ had mentioned something she hadn’t ever thought about. Her parents. It wasn’t that she hadn’t wished to meet the people who had tried to give her life; her thoughts were just more focused on the ground beneath her and the people that lived here. She found herself shaking her head, but her answer was not vocalized as the boy in front of her explained what he was.

Her eyes widened and she froze by the now open door, watching as he poured water on the floor to meet up with a white blob on the floor. A reaper…although he had no idea what it meant, she certainly did and it almost made her back off before she heard another voice. At the exclamation from the voice, her eyes looked around the cabin before she noticed the white blob from before stretching out and reforming. It’s mass turned purple and it asked who she was while sticking a piece of itself out towards her.

Unsure of the gesture, she slightly lifted her hand as James introduced her to it, and she frowned slightly at the creature as it sprouted another head. Ili then introduced himself, and despite the fact she already knew it, she repeated it quietly to herself. Squeaking as his weird substance now covered her hand, she wiggled her fingers experimentally in the goo. James assured her he was fine and she nodded slightly, stepping into the cabin as the announcement aired. With her belongings still in place on her back, hiding her rather smaller black wings, she wasn’t worried.

"Already down to five minutes? I thought this'd be a long ride?" Ili said, almost as a question as he flopped back against the wall, slapping wetly onto it as his form went back to a blob again, reforming into a sitting position, one leg propped atop the other.

"So what do you think we're gonna learn at the school?" the slime asked, colours changing playfully again, this time to a bronzed sepia colour.

James pointed out the window

"well, even though its a steamtrain, everything is still a blur outside, look!"

outside, they could see the train was indeed moving insanely fast, everything outsifde was a blur, in 5 minutes they would easily cross the distance a normal train would cross in 3 hours.

James grabbed his things, a small bag, similar to hermionie's bag in harry potter, with near unlimited space inside it, really expensive it was.

"i'm ready!"

when Ili said what they'd learn, James thought for a moment

"my dad told me it'd be Magic, Maths, Science, English, we'd have to learn at least 2 new languages, P.E, Defense and we can choose if we want to learn Drama"

A woman was looking out a window in a suburban home. In the yard, she watcher her children play. There were three of them, and they were playinf keep away. Then, she loked up. Trace looked up,too. There was a bright flicker in the sky...And it wasn't the sun. The woman explaimed something in a south asian language, and began to yell at her children in a panicked tone. The flicker developed a black dot in the center. Then,a deafening thunder, and a blinding flash.

When Trace's vision cleared, everyone was dead. The grass was dead. The trees were dead. Everything that once held life had died. He looked around, breath coming in short gasps. The buildings were untouched. No craters,no fires. Nothing but corpses and dead plants. "What is this!?"

Trace's eyes regained focus, and he began to breathe in air greedily. He broke into a cold sweat. Was that the past? Or the future...? After a few moments,he exhaled slowly. It was just a vision... He rested his forehead in his right hand, and closed his eyes. If it was the future...Maybe it won't happen anyways... He stood up,now composed, and looked around, and saw everyone was getting their bags ready. Trace pulled his bag down from the luggage compartment, and said, "How long was I out?"

With Ili’s complaint, Minka looked out the window, shaking her hand slightly as it still felt as if there was goo around it. James readily explained the speed of the train and she knocked her head against the window as she tried to put it through. Rubbing her head with a frown, she turned to the blob and James, the former sitting in a new sepia color as the latter answered his question.

She hadn’t heard of most of the subjects before, so she was excited that going to the school meant learning about it.

“I thought it was just a magic school” she noted, in response.

"well, we can't just learn magic or else we'd be powerful idiots!" proclaimed James, proud for remembering what his dad taught him.

when Trace woke up, james gave hima light slap to the side of the face

"you were out for a long time, the tran is gonna arrive in less than 5 minutes!... did you have a nightmare?"

"Few minutes," Ili replied, looking at Trace a little funny. He seemed to be breathing awfully fast.

"Something wrong?" he asked, trying to look down the boy's throat, stopping himself before he poured into Trace's mouth.

Maybe there was something stuck in there?

James replied to her comment in a rather joking manner and she rubbed at her neck in response, was that something stupid to say? The boy in the corner had stood up all of a sudden, and Minka stumbled back, falling next to Ili as he asked how long he had been out. Immediately looking away from him, and towards the ground, she shrugged, her shy nature kicking in again with another person.

James didn’t answer him completely, only telling him that they would be stopping in less than five minutes. Ili then asked if there was anything the matter with him, getting a little close to his throat, which made her giggle slightly.

Trace shook his head. "Yeah,a nightmare. Stupid Timestreaming. Why is it always doom and gloom? Why can't it be fuzzy bunnies?" He saw a new person,a girl,in the compartment. "Hey. Who're you?" He sat down, with his bag bu his legs.

"Well, mom and dad always told me the world has been really sad and gloomy for a long time so... yeah"

when he asked about Minka he began smiling again

"this is Minka, our new friend!"

Minka couldn’t completely understand his comment about…’Time streaming’ but she nodded anyways, folding her hands in her lap. He seemed to notice her then asking who she was, and after darting her eyes up, then back towards the ground she almost responded. It was as if James’ sensed her nervous nature, and introduced her to the boy who had just asked.

Forcing a smile, she finally looked at the boy for longer than a second before her stomach jumped and she looked at Eli, his featureless face was more calming on her short nerves.

"Well, it looks like we've already found some friends for our time at the school," Ili said suddenly, his features widening with a childish grin, showing where teeth should have been.

Even more suddenly, his 'arms' stretched way out, and wrapped around the other three in a great hug.

"one minute till arival" went the speakers, in the distance out the windows, they could see the big black spires sticking out from the thick forrest cannopy, with red and white lights flashing on the tops of them, the balconies visible.

from one of the spires, some of the seniors decided to give the approaching juniors a bit of a show, firing fantastic magical lights into the air, in the next cabin they could hear some students let out a "woah! cool!"

As the box spoke again, Nellie looked up at it and smiled softly. "So friendly they are...." Shaking her head, she continued staring at Gullivan and Ross as the bowl sat on the seat, her on the floor. Her stuff had been repacked, and was sitting next to the bowl on the seat, outside of the bracelet which now rest on her wrist.

Hearing the two arguing between each other over what was going to happen there, she silently had to wonder if they were going to have water, more specifically, a lake at this school. If she wasn't mistaken, she was over due for a little natural resting. A flash of light, and her head was drawn towards the window. Blinking a few times, she had to wonder what it was was more went up.

Claiming them all to be friends, Ili’s faced morphed into a child-like smile and he spread out to squish them all together. Being squished by people and goo, the girl flailed uselessly in the pile and barely heard the speaker. A light flashed in the window behind her, and she span around, struggling until she could see out of it.

soon, the train began slowing, going in to another tunnel.

everything was dark for about 30 seconds, but then it all lit up, and they were at the train station, it was underground, and outside the train carriage they could see one of the staff flanked by some others in big black coats, they were like the inspectors back at the station, they all wore black overcoats, metal helmets, glowing goggles, a mixture of blue and red glowing goggles, face masks and some basic armour on them.

james moved to the door with the rest of the children, pouring out of the train onto the train platform, behind the staff greeter and imposing "inspectors" were several senior and middle-school students, all in their school uniforms, different versons and styles of it made for each species, even a green slime was socializing and his uniform was a badge with the school symbol on it floating around inside him.

the staff member waited for all the new students to calm down and listen.

Letting the others go as they offloaded from the train, Ili left the train in a vibrant red humanoid form. There were so many different people, it would be great fun to learn here.

"For better or worse," he said aloud, a grin plastered across his features as usual; waiting for, no doubt, the headmaster or something to make an announcement.

As the train stopped, Nellie picked up her bowl and book, and followed a small group of giggling nagas, humans, and a bird creature off. Looking around on the platform, at the various people, the creatures, and those with the goggles, she felt a bit uneasy. Jarred from behind, she stumbled forward, hitting into someone and getting a bit of water on them. "S-sorry." She squeaked out, trying to move farther away from a potential angry person but to no avail of the amount of students keeping her in place.

As Trace was pulled into the hug,he squirmed sligtly. He wasn't used to being hugged, and the sensation of being hugged,at least by a slime, was less than comfortable. When Ili let go,Trace picked up his bag,and followed everyone out to the platform. When he noticed the imposing armoured individuals,he mused aliud, "Are they expecting us to riot,or something?" He bumped into Ili,and hastily backed up to avoid being sucked in. Again. Then,he bumped into someone else. He looked over his shoulder, and saw it was a boy. He nodded, and looked back at the crowd. "Why'd everyone stop?"
