Hello, my name's Noivian, or Noiv for short, and this is a pairing that has always had a soft spot for me. I tend to enjoy playing the deity role, but am willing to be convinced otherwise. I've got several ideas for this one pairing, so if any of them strike a fancy, just PM me or respond here!
- Character A is a deity, either monotheistic or polytheistic is up to you. A is visiting the mortal realm, as A does every once in a while to make sure everything's going fine, and runs into Character B, a normal human. A and B decide to travel together, B enjoying A's company and A deciding that talking to B is a good way to get a general grasp of mortal mentality. We take it a week after they decide to start traveling around together.
- Character A is a deity, either monotheistic or polytheistic is up to you. A is visiting the mortal realm, as A does every once in a while to make sure everything's going fine, and runs into Character B, a normal human. A becomes B's roommate, and eventually A falls madly in love with B. The problem then becomes trying to make B fall for A while also keeping A's true identity a secret, so as to not scare B off or pressure B into liking A back.
- Character A is a deity, preferably polytheistic. B is a wizard, more akin to a D&D wizard than the pop culture portrayal. Every mage has a patron deity, but A doesn't have any mages that have them as their patron, because A is the god/dess of magic, and hence cannot pick sides. B casts a spell one day that seems to have no effect, only for moments afterwards a meteor to strike the ground outside their house. Inside the crater, a lone figure emerges. It's A, but without their powers, stuck in a mortal body. It's up to B now to restore A to their former self, or risk the permanent loss of magic everywhere.
- Character A is a deity, preferably polytheistic, and not a very nice one at that. They're not a major deity, ruling over something minor like a specific lake or river or something, but they have full domain over the village that Character B lives in. One day, A demands a tribute from the village, the finest looking bride/groom for them to marry, selecting B out of a crowd of people. Of course, there's no turning down a god/dess' demand, so now B needs to learn to get along with A.
- Character A is a deity, preferably polytheistic. A has a temple in a rather large city, being a rather popular deity to worship, and often resides within the temple under the guise of a clergy member. Many other clergy of the temple know this, except Character B, a rather new acolyte who's about to make an interesting first impression on their god/dess.
