Writing workshops / constructive critique

revo

mad to live
Maybe a subforum called the "writing workshop" or something where people can post writing samples and stuff they're working on and get feedback from other members. Something to encourage writing skills would be sweet.

We have that already =)

Hmm... that section is not clearly marked for purposes of improving writing, getting edits and critique, etc. Also as a practical matter it does not seem to be regularly used for such purposes. Just because you can post creative writing there does not mean people know they can come there and give you feedback. If it was me I wouldn't give feedback because it seems like just a place to showcase work, not a place to volunteer to have my work ripped apart for the good of my writing... you know? If you are uninterested in this idea however I understand.

It's not that I am uninterested. It seems a title change or a notification will serve the purpose in which you are looking for.
