In a cramped room located in the Underbelly of Dalaran, a small group of men and women are gathered around a large wooden table. It's dark and damp, and hardly a good meeting place, but nonetheless, those that have gathered here have important business. They are all either well-armed or well-respected in some field, and hail from all walks of life. Perhaps more importantly though, they come from all races and factions. Members from both the Horde and Alliance sit across from each other with one common goal in mind, a rare sight in these times. Ever since the Burning Legion's third invasion of Azeroth and the subsequent loss of both King Wrynn and Warchief Vol'jin, tensions have been at a peak high between the two factions. Some think that things will go on like they always have; they will fight, some ground will be gained and lost, but the near constant stalemate that has always existed will continue without too much trouble. Most, however, believe that the war will reach a new high in activity. The coming times will not be pleasant, no matter which outcome comes to pass. While all of this is happening, reports have been springing up about a new faction: worshipers of the Old Gods that have organized themselves into a group calling themselves the 'Children of the Void'. Should they succeed in their goals, all life on Azeroth will end, and the outcome of the brewing war will matter little. The adventurers in this room, whomever they are and whatever their past, are tasked with stopping them, no matter the cost.

Anyone interested in some WoW RP? I think the above paragraph gives a good explanation of the plot, but to summarize: this takes place just before Battle for Azeroth, and concerns a group of Old God worshipers who seek to help their deities end all life on Azeroth. They've built an army that actually has a chance at succeeding in their goals, so our characters are tasked with ending them before they can do any serious damage. Members from both the Horde and Alliance are being recruited, so any race is allowed to enter.

Now, some rules: proper grammar is a must, as is being polite to other members of the RP. A decent knowledge of WoW lore is essentially required since the RP will be taking place in that universe. Nothing too serious, just a good understanding of the various factions, characters, etc. I'd prefer players to be 16+ as things will get pretty dark at points. I believe that's about it. Oh, and we'll have a max of 5 characters, including me.

So, anyone interested? :D

Good. Good. :) I actually main a warlock, so hopefully I'll know what I'm talking about lol.

A few questions: Is there going to be a posting length? I personally do NOT, under any circumstances, like one-liners. They are they bane of my existence as an rper.
How often will we be required to post?

Required post length of at least a paragraph, more if possible but a paragraph is fine with me. I'd like everyone to post at least once a day, but the more the better. I personally dislike it when people post too much and leave people behind, so I think it's important to only post a few times before letting other people catch up :)

I think, since the characters are supposed to be the best of the best, characters can have at least one mount, a pet if it's appropriate, and whatever professions work with their backstory. Nothing too overpowered though :D

Hehe, I'm definitely interested. Though, I'm a bit of an old-timer in that my last expansion was early WotLK -- I couldn't enjoy the game the same way I did back in the days of TBC and late Vanilla. My boyfriend got me back in action a month ago, and to my surprise, I *am* enjoying Legion, despite it being a somewhat different game compared to expansions preceeding Cataclysm.

Anyhow, all mindless chatter aside, I'd absolutely love to complement the band from the shadows as a Rogue, provided that they are allowed to join the fray.

Troldmand Troldmand

I get that. I actually got in near the tail end of Wrath, my main expansion was Cata before I took about a year long break XD Rogue's are totally allowed in the fray!

I'll get a CS thread up sometime tonight.
