"Wait and Hope"
Welcome to the World of Vermilion, an RP that puts the Persona and Final Fantasy series into a blender and mashes the Purée button while also adding in a little from Square-Enix's other IPs. The mythos of the Final Fantasy franchise is mixed with the Persona series's supernaturally empowered high school students and world-ending cosmic horrors.
The amount of knowledge required from either series while playing this RP is limited. The most you'll need to know about Final Fantasy are the elements and names of the iconic summons that appear throughout the series. WoV:FF draws upon Persona's thematic characteristics rather than any pre-existing lore.
This RP takes primarily takes place in both Shibuya and the [World of Vermilion], an alternate reality accessed through randomly appearing portals. The World of Vermilion resembles modern Shibuya but various monsters and otherworldly beings are all that inhabit this dimension. In order to prevent the destruction of Tokyo (and the rest of the world), players must delve into this strange reality and prevent the premonition from coming true.
