[Fukushima Akira]

The Story So Far...​

In the first years after the creation of The Existence, a time before the creation of the Gods and the birth of the Royal children Imperius, Genesis and Marica, some of the earliest Sanctums to exist chose not to protect The Existence, but subjugate it. Taking over various parts of it's blank canvas and creating worlds, some Sanctums became Warlords and injustice reigned on the solar systems they'd created. Eventually, Sanctums with integrity chose to stand up to their tyrannical brethren and form the Iron Lords. More and more noble Sanctums joined the cause until an army hundreds strong was formed and the oppressive warlords were deposed.

Following the Warlord conflict, the Iron Lords dedicated themselves to defending The Existence and restoring it's once blank state, just in time for the creation of God. The Iron Lords protected the newly constructed gateway of The Existence in the infamous battle of twelve worlds against the twelve races of the Alpha Universe, and not a single front faltered. During this conflict, the Iron Lords were known for their invincible patrols and their contributions to the great gateway construction, cementing their legend in Sanctum history.

From this point, Sanctums became the Guardians of The Existence, and as such, were sworn to never enter it's domain. This would be rectified when Imperius, the eldest son of the then-king Ragnarok, ascended to the throne. While Sanctums are allowed to visit The Existence, they prefer to remain within Euphoria and watch history, save for a very select few.

From that point on, history continued like it did, with a few changes, where man discovered fire, which was granted to them by Akira, the Sanctum of Fire. In this world, however, Asia doesn't exist, and the whole land mass of the continent is actually just Japan. Japan's culture is the exact same, with the exact same history as the current world.

At the end of the twenty-first century, in a time where nuclear war was almost guaranteed to wipe out Humanity, the Gods created Super Humans, the next evolution of the Human Race, at an attempt to lower the threat of annihilation. These Super Humans were the prototypes to the Super Humans who are around currently, as the Prototypes only had minor mental and physical enhancements. The Super Humans had the opposite affect on Mankind. Instead of dulling the war flames, it was fanned instead. Countries tried to replicate Super Humans through experimentation to enhance their military strength only to fail. The country with the most Super Humans would become the feared Super power of the world, which would inadvertently cause tensions to rise.

As the nuclear war continued to draw closer at a faster rate than before, the Sky Fathers and their pantheons unanimously decided to intervene themselves, appearing to Man with their Heralds; Super Humans with a wide array of powers just below their Gods. The Gods forcibly removed the Nuclear weapons from Man's hands and disposed of them, along with leaving them a threat that if any more were produced, they'd be smitten. The Gods decided to freely travel between their home and Earth, interacting with mankind as opposed to their previous way of life, whereas their Heralds remained on Earth full time, mating with the Humans and producing Super powered Humans, the same of which provided even more offspring. Each generation of Super Humans continued to mate until we got to the current generation of Super Humans, the eleventh generation. Currently, God, the pagan Gods and Demons are widely known to exist, and in the cases of the Gods, are worshipped now more than any other era of Human history. The Sanctums however chose to remain unknown, and if they used their powers and were asked about them, they'd state that they were either a Super Human or a God, as explaining a Sanctum would be too much work for a Human brain to comprehend. Super Humans are in the plentiful, although standard Humans still vastly outnumber them. Recognising the problem with untrained super powers, numerous schools around the world were erected to educate and train the powered masses. One such school stands highest among the rest, The Euphorian High for Empowered Beings, commonly nicknamed by Humans as "Fantasy High".

After the events of a Super-powered cataclysmic event, the United Nations issued a world-wide registration act, where every super Human and super powered being would have to register in a Government-controller directory where their name, powers and strength of powers would be documented. This in turn caused outrage, and because of that, sparked a rebellion and created a large divide in the community. A civil war broke out between Super Humans and any powered being affected by the new act, and many innocent lives were lost in the conflict. Seeing the damage their act was causing, the United Nations quickly receded the act and issued a formal apology to the masses.

All seemed right with the world, and the numerous schools were reopened the next month. Peace had returned after three months of war. However in the Alpha Universe, a dark entity was consolidating power for a devious cause.

The Conjunction of the Spheres

The cataclysm commonly known as the Conjunction of the Spheres happened one and a half millennia ago. A cosmic collision of several parallel universes. Because of this event, creatures never seen before entered The Existence, and still do not have their own ecological niche there. Among others, Ghouls, Graveirs and Vampires are relics of the permeation of the spheres. These creatures have remained off the grid since their arrival, but now they have begun to surface, killing any and all who are unfortunate enough to meet them.​
