Major Rook stared at the civilians which were being escorted by a couple of marines as he lit up a cigar. He sighed then started smoking, as he looked towards the soldier walking straight to him.
"Sir... They need you back at the base... " the soldier said.
" Alright, I'll be right there , " Rook said as he started walking towards the Jeep which was waiting for him .
" To the military base, and fast ! " he shouted as the driver started the Jeep.
"Sir... They need you back at the base... " the soldier said.

As Major Rook arrived at the base and walked inside his radio emitted a sound "Major Rook, get over to the operations room right now!"
when he got there, the General and few other soldiers were there, one of the soldiers was Captain Shaun, he was quite known around the base almost as much as Major Rook. General spoke "Good job out there, we need to fortify our base to make sure no one breaches, after a while you and a team of ten people including Captain Shaun will be sent out on a mission, in the meanwhile you can rest or practice at the base, your choice.

" Yes, Sir ! " Major Rook said as he saluted. He then proceeded to the barracks. He walked around his room as he checked his equipment. He then grabbed a bottle of beer. He stared at the bottle for a couple of seconds, then placed it back.
" This is so boring. " Major Rook said as he walked and laid down in his bed. " I guess I'll be resting until the mission starts. " He said.

It was night, Rook and others were sleeping, Shaun opened his eyes for a moment to look around as he saw someone near Major Rook, Shaun grabbed his glock and aimed at the man near him and pulled the trigger as the man got shot in the head and blood spraying onto Major Rook, afterwards alarms began blaring around the base as a lot of people were heard running some screaming in russian "FOR MOTHERLAND!" Shaun began to run over to his locker as he grabbed his rifle and rest of his gear that he could already put on. Shaun holstered his pistol and then unslinged his rifle as he heard from his radio "This is the General, I am away from the base, secure it". Shaun grabbed a grenade and then as he heard someone near the door he shot at it as he heard screams from it, afterwards he opened it and then headed into the corridor.

Major Rook ran to his locker and grabbed his gear. In a couple of moments, he was fully equipped. He grabbed his rifle and ran to Shaun.
" I heard there's tanks at the Hangar. You secure the rest, I'll go to the Hangars with a couple of men and drive the Russians away ! " Major Rook told Shaun as he started running to the Hangars and speaking into the radio. " I need four or more men to meet me at the Hangars ! Beware of the enemy tanks and troops there ! " Major Rook said as he ran to the Hangars. Once he got there, he took cover behind some crates with a couple of soldiers. " Anyone brought a RPG ? Nobody? Fine, guess we'll take care of 'em the old, classic way ! Private Joe, go and distract them as I get inside of one of their tanks. " Major Rook said.
"Yes, Sir ! " Joe said as he sneaked to some crates, further away and started firing at the Russians .
Major Rook sneaked closer to one of the tanks and entered it. He knocked out the Russian inside it then aimed the tank to the other one. He fired, blowing it up. He then proceeded to use the tank to kill some of the Russian Soldiers invading the base. The Russian men which survived fled. A small army of soldiers was called to defend the base from the further attacks. Major Rook stood at a table at the Canteen . He took a cigar, lit it up and started smoking. He stared at Shaun as he sat down at his table. After a couple of seconds, Major Rook started talking.
" Great job there, pal ! Never got a chance to meet you ! Name's Charles, but most of the people call me Rook or Fox, as a code name. Nice to meet you. " He said as he stretched his arm for a hand shake.

Shaun stretched out his hand and shook Rook's hand as he said "Captain Cobra" afterwards he looked around the canteen and said "I am sure more attacks will fo-" he was interupted by a sniper shot which missed him only barely as Shaun yelled "Watch out! Snipers!", Shaun slided on the ground to the window to cover, he peeked through the window and shot two russians a he yelled "It's Russians!" before he jumped out the window as he shot few more russians as he saw multiple rockets flying towards the base he shouted "RPGS!" afterwards he ran to the hangar and got into a military jeep and as he drove he grabbed Rook and pulled him inside as they both drove out into the near forest.

" Damn... " Major Rook said as he grabbed his radio. " Sir, what are you orders ? " He then asked.
In a couple of seconds, a voice answered: " Fall back, men. The General said that backup will come to take the base back. "
" Ugh.. What should we do now ? " Major Rook asked as he looked at Shaun.

Shaun said as he continued to drive "Survive whatever comes next..." as they drove in to the forest and stopped, both getting out as Shaun said "We go on foot." as they ran into the forest.
