Realistic or Modern WoodFall, our beautiful town

Dakota watched the girl as she called a fox over and jumped ever so slightly when he saw one pounce from out of the trees. He laughed in amazement, and watched as she picked the fox up and brought it closer. "That's remarkable!" Dakota complimented her. He looked at the fox and hesitantly raised his hand. Many animals wouldn't let him touch them. He didn't want the fox to freak out in the girl's arms. "Could I...?" Dakota was asking if he could pet the fox.

"Of course!" She said coming closer so he could pet the fox without scaring it. Elah assured it that the boy wouldn't hurt him.

Dakota nervously rested his hand on the fox's coat, and gently stroked it's body. He blinked his eyes surprised, and he smiled. He glanced up at the girl, then quickly back down to the fox. "You know, I've never really been able to pet a forest animal before. The only animal that ever let me pet him, was my dog. And that took years of trust to build." His family dog that they had since he was five, was the only animal that really liked him. The dog's name was Riceroni. Many people questioned the name, and his family had to explain that Dakota really wanted to name him that. He was young. Riceroni, or Roni for short, was a golden retriever, and was basically Dakota's best friend. Until he died last year. It crushed Dakota for the longest time, but he has moved on. Now the only pet his family has is a cat named Seraphina, whose Lillian's. Seraphina hates Dakota's guts, and will hiss at even the sight of him. Dakota never even did anything to the cat. He had lost hope that any animal would ever trust him, or like him like Roni had. Dakota smiled, still petting the fox in disbelief.

Dakota smiled and looked at the girl, raising his eyebrows, "Really?" He looked back down at the fox, "Well that would mean a lot, thank you." He thought for a moment, "Hey, what's your name? I feel like I've seen you around, but we've never talked before." He ran his hand through the fox's soft coat.

Dakota smiled, "Nice to meet you Elah. I'm Dakota." Suddenly he heard a stick snap, startling him. His hands heated up, and he quickly pulled them away from the fox. He turned around thinking someone was watching them, and looked for the source of the noise, but spotted nothing. He figured it was probably just an animal. He looked at Elah nervously, "Uh... And that is why animals don't trust me... I'm too... Jumpy." And not to mention his hands heat up when he feels a strong emotion. He bit his lip and looked at the fox,, "Sorry..."

Elah frowned. "Your hiding something... I can sense it, just like the animals can." Elah put the fox down and it ran into the forest.

Olivia made her way out of the house in a hurry. Her father had invited a couple of his business partners over for breakfaat before they headed to church; a place where Olivia refuses to step foot. As soon as her brother mentioned the place, she brushed by him and out the door. Dressed in a long sleeved purple shirt and dark jeans, Olivia was comfortable outside. After walking a little over a block away, she paused and took a deep breath in. She glanced around lightly before continuing on her way to the park. Olivia had been living here for quite some time but it was still hard to get used to the eerie feeling that generally rested over the town. Tourists were constantly bugging everyone in hopes of triggering something mysterious from someone, not realizing their annoying attempts were simply pathetic. Even some of the people who have lived here for years, such as Olivia herself, have yet to bump into someone who decides to reveal their secrets. Though, Olivia would honestly prefer to keep it that way. Smiling softly as she arrived at the park, she headed onto her usual trail and began her daily jog.

Nikolai followed his frustrated sister down the stairs and to the door. He hesitated in the opening for a moment, contemplating whether to go with or stay, eventually deciding to hang behind for just a few more minutes. His initial plan was to meet up with some of the other players and carry out a game of football at the park but plans had failed when word of a new wave of tourists was mumbled about the town. Nikolai knew what they were here for and, even though they weren't here for him, he still liked to stay clear. Trying not to let his curiosity get the best of him, Nikolai said goodbye from the door and left, avoiding interrupting his father and his friends. Nikolai looked up and across the street at the woods. Squinting slightly, he made out a deer hovering just by the edge. He smirked softly and got into his car, revving the engine to scare the animal, then making his way deeper into town in hopes of finding something to do for the day.

Dakota eyed the girl momentarily, then looked away, "Hey we all have our secrets, don't we?" He sighed and shoved his hands in his pockets, and looked down. Even though he figured she had a power, and she basically had shown her use it in action, Dakota was a little more cautious of who he showed his to. His was dangerous, and if the wrong person found out about it... They could probably take him away.
June looked at the time, and then back at Steven. "Oh, well I got to get going Steven. It was nice talking to you!" She said. Then after a quick moment of thought, June pulled out her notebook, wrote her number down then handed it to him. "Give me a call sometime." She told him, smiling. Then she got her stuff packed up, and stood. "Bye!" She looked around and wanted to stop at the video game store before she got home. So she made her way over, and entered the store. She saw a worker putting a game on display and walked over to her. "Hey there." She greeted, while browsing the games.

Dante was enjoying the park on his usual trail and he was looking to his left when he saw a girl. He got nervous and stopped. She was pretty. He had never seen a pretty girl before. He stared at her.

Elah stared and sighed. "I told you mine. It's only fair you tell me yours." I said wrapping my arms around myself.

Dakota looked at the girl. He never liked confrontation much. He narrowed his eyes slightly thinking. "Elah, have you noticed that there's been a lot more tourists?" He asked, stalling for time.

After jogging for awhile, Olivia could tell her body needed a break. She had jogging for quite some time and, though her body was used to this treatment, she seemed to be growing more tired than usual. The lack of water or a sports drink was probably to blame. Yawning slightly, she slowed her pace to a casual walk and found a spot on a nearby bench. Sitting down carefully, Olivia closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths, wrapping her fingers under the lip of the bench. Releasing her grasp, she placed her hands on her lap and opened her eyes. She let her gaze wander around at surrounding people for a moment before focusing her eyes down on herself. She didn't like to stare too much at other people since most of them got that treatment daily. However, there was someone she had noticed that seemed to be staring quite intensely at something.. More specifically someone.

Nikolai drove around town seemingly lost for awhile before finding an open parking space. There were already tons of people here, ready for a long day of observing and annoying people. He shook his head as a man passed by him and eyed him nervously. "Just an average human being here, sir. Sorry to disappoint," he mumbled aggressively to the guy as he passed. Nikolai wandered into his favorite coffee place and ordered himself his regular cup of joe. He smiled and paid the woman as he received his coffee. Nik made his way over to a small table by the window and sat down, sipping his drink as he watched the flow of people through town.

Dante went towards the girl. When he approached her he said, "Hi. I'm Dante. Who are you?" He was really nervous.

Hearing a voice, Olivia glanced up cautiously. Standing in front of her was a guy who looked about her age and had introduced himself as Dante. Upon hearing his name, she couldn't help but smirk because of it's clear Italian roots. Then, upon seeing his face, she felt her smirk turn into a genuine smile. "I'm Olivia. It's nice to meet you," she responded, crossing her arms casually over her chest as she felt a slight chill. Normally, she was used to being approached by the occasional guy at school but not many approached her outside of that building or at a party for that matter. It was nice to have someone introduce themselves before copping a feel for once, too.

Dante rubbed that back of his neck. This was the farthest he has ever gotten with a girl. "Uh. Nice to meet you too. Are you from around here?" He asked her. He definitely hasn't seen her face before. Maybe he was just too nervous.

Richard got out of his house quietly trying to not get caught by his father or his brother, his brother would annoy him and his father would try to convinse him to be more like his brother. He started walking and he noticed how many tourist were there, they were really annoing and he really hated all of them just because they wanted to catch someone who was trying to stay hidden. He saw the local video game store and entered, he grabbed a video game he had never seen before and started reading the summary. "You have got to be kidding me" he said while looking at the game. He hated the idea of a video game were all you do is kill gifted people, he was really angry but he didnt want to explote of anger and expose his powers so he decided to calm down and continue cursing in his head.

Elizabeth looked at the guy who just arrived to the store and smiled when she heard his comment about the game, she didnt know if he was gifted or just normal but it was nice to know someone else hated the game as much as she did. She walked near him and smiled.

"I know i´m not supposed to say anything bad about the games here but that game is just crap"

June looked at the new boy who entered the video game store, she recalled his name was Richard, and looked at his reaction to the video game. Frowning softly she picked it up and read the summary as well and raised an eyebrow. She looked at the employee who was working there, and listened to her comment, and Richard, "Odd game to have stored here in this town. Considering that there's supposed to be gifted people here..." She put the game back, and walked over to them. "I wonder if that's why they put it here. To see their reactions..." She looked at the two.

Richard smiled at the employee and looked at her, she looked nice and she was really cute. He was about to say something until another girl made her comment about the game. He laughed nervously thinking the girl suspected he was gifted too, he looked at her and said the first thing he though about.

"Well, I dont really belive in all those things about the gifted and stuff so I cant relate or anything"

Elizabeth though about the comment the girl said and she smiled nervously trying to not get caught and everyone knowing she was one of the gifted and people trying to get her. She couldnt think of anything to say so she just smiled and nodded at the girl

June smiled softly at them, "Neither do I. But you never know." She shrugged. "I mean, I've lived here my entire life, and I've never seen anything like that. They must be really good at hiding it." She laughed softly, and looked at them, "You're Richard right?" She asked the boy, then looked at the worker, "And I've never seen you before, are you new around here?" She asked.

"Yeah, they are really good at hiding it... I´ve lived here my entire life too and all of the rumours seem really fake" Richard said nervously, anyone could sence he was really nervous but Richard hoped they wouldnt know why. "Yeah i´m Richard, You´re June right?"

"Yeah, i´m new here. I arrived a week ago." Elizabeth said trying to stop the gifted conversation before she started to suspect more. She gave her a nervous smile and laughed a little bit. "I´m Elizabeth"
