Time to introduce myself. *^*

Thought I'd finally introduce myself. :'D My name is Jackie, I'm 22 (not sure when that happened) and I've been role playing since I was 12. I started role playing on Neopets back in the good ol' days. ; ^ ; Where does the time go...?!


I was home schooled for eleven years and then I went to college for an art degree.


I'm really into art. Love to draw (traditional and digital), use Sculpey clay, sew, needle felt...you name it, I've probably tried it. That's how I currently support myself.


I know it is obvious, but I'm a hugeee Hobbit fan. I am also a fan of Marvel, TMNT 2003, and some other stuff. I'm sort of introverted. I don't really fit in with a lot of the people I know/have known IRL, so the internet is always a nice outlet to find people with similar interests.


My biggest love is probably writing, though it isn't always easy to find people to write with. I guess I sorta have a lot of limits compared to a lot of people. Doesn't help that I'm very unromantic, so I don't really dig romance in role plays. I'm all about platonic/feels/angst/brotherhood, etc. I think that's part of the reason why I love LoTR and The Hobbit so much.


I'd describe myself as a friendly, easy to get along with person, but I can be a grouch when depression hits. Sometimes I feel as if I'm triple my age. Mentally, that is. When I'm not in my grumpy Bilbo mood, I really love to laugh and make others laugh. I like adding some humor to my writing, too. Nothing indecent, just good clean humor. I think I was inspired by Mark Twain when I was a kid.


Anyways...I don't want to say too much. I'm really enjoying this site so far, and I have high hopes of making some good friends here. *crosses fingers*

I think that editing definitely counts as art. I love to make edits too! Both for graphic design and in videos (I am still learning from my sister, though. She's the queen of that. ) Oh yeah, that may have been the spider Shelob. I am terrified of spiders, but on screen I am not too disturbed by them...which is strange because I'm usually pretty scared of everything, haha!


Marvel is great! I am a big fan of Captain America. I like the other Disney Marvel movies, but the ones with Cap are my favorites. :3 TMNT was my childhood...so much that I had to bring it along into adulthood. :'D


That's cool! I know a lot of extroverted people both online and IRL. My mom's entire family is extroverted. @-@ Makes family reunions quite interesting, to say the least! I wish I could be more like that! ; ^ ;


Oh! And as for my art...I am not too sure how to post things here...but my DA username is comsical. I don't often upload to it though. ;;

That's nice! If your sister and you aren't already in the vine community, you should definitely join! There's a ton of rad editors on the site, and there's a bunch of editing groups and biz.. I'm hardly afraid of anything, but Shelob really got me. My family would probably disown me if I get scared of anything, and yet we're still horrified of spiders.. We're huge horror-fanatics!


Same! My favorite turtle was definitely Michelangelo.. Probably because he reminds me a lot of mysefl! Sadly, I have yet to watch the Captain America movies. However, I'm really into Daredevil and Ironman. I guess we're on different side of the "Civil War" then.. ໒( •́ ‸ •̀ )७


Psh, you're great as you are! Putting an entire clan of extroverts together is tough, though.. My family is always chattering about someone or something, and although I'm in the same boat, it gets pretty tiring.. 乁| ･ 〰 ･ |ㄏ

Personally I find myself extroverted and introverted and different times, but I feel like I'm becoming more extroverted in general just because I care less and less what people think of me xD . Oh geez I used to have horrible arachnophobia and I still don't like spiders but I can deal with them a lot better now. I've taken a drawing class and practiced/doodled a bit in my free time but I'm a scrub.

LOL, oh man. See I'm the total opposite. I am a huge baby when it comes to horror/gore. I guess I'm just easily disturbed...?! Doesn't help that I have an overactive imagination. @___@

If you haven't seen the Captain America movies, you should the next chance you can! They're so great, especially the second one! My heart says team Cap, but my head says team both, because in Civil War I saw both sides.

Awh, thank you! You know, now that you say that...I DO have my extroverted moments, but it always takes me a while to get to that point. :'DD Like...in college, it took me around two weeks of going to get comfortable with the people there. After that, I was really talkative...felt so good! Dang...I almost miss it now haha!!


I really don't care what people think of me, either. I'm rather unliked by many, but it's because I can be a bit opinionated and I don't shy away from what I believe in ... not a good combo if you're in the market for friends :'D

Well it depends what kind of friends you're making. I only went to community college for a short time but there were definitely some cool people that I'm glad I got to spend time with. Hopefully the friends you're trying to make have similar opinions or are just cool enough to respect yours .
