Humans that can turn into wolves have half of a wolf's soul and blood in their veins.
Legend has it that they were once Angels and Fallen Angels that used Wolves' bodies to battle against each other and fight over other beasts to protect mankind.
Nevertheless, the race has continued to grow since and they children with other wolves. This caused a cross-breeding, and the wolves were able to morph into a human form as well as wolf. Some thought it was a curse.
Now the wolves geographically live in a mountain region in England. It is generally considered wilderness there, but below them just a few miles lies some towns with human population. The mountain is popular for werewolves because the moon shines there the brightest throughout the year giving them strength.
It is where the legend of werewolves becomes true. And although they can transform into a werewolf and live in the woods forever, they choose to blend in with the rest of society and go to high school and live ordinary lives like the rest of us- or at least they try to.
That is when a high school is built close by the forest, the werewolves try to conceal themselves and the dark secrets that lie in that forest by attending Fortchester's High School during the day. They hope not to reveal the gruesome secrets that move with the mountain. But there's always been heated rivalries in the wolf packs, and some humans can risk the lives of the pack.
But their calling is the mountain, and that's where they choose as their home for the many ages.
