Digital Witness'
partner search

────── ──────

Heyoo, it looks like I'm on the search again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I guess I'll start this off by saying that I'm looking for something casual. I work full-time and considering my hours jump anywhere from 8am-3pm to 4am-12pm and I'm almost constantly suffering from sleep deprived whiplash as a result, I'll likely only be able to reply a few times a week (2-3, but more depending on time and muse). If that's not gonna work for you I suggest that you stop reading and seek out a different partner. If that's something that you're cool with (and I'll happily extend the same courtesy to you... I promise not to hound you for replies) I'll go ahead and list some of my preferences, rules, and expectations.

What I prefer: 99.9% of my characters are female & fall somewhere on the LGBT spectrum, so I largely prefer FxF pairings. MxF can be discussed, but it's not my first choice. // I really only do realistic type plots. I delve into the post-apocalyptic realm on occasion but, for the most part, fantasy doesn't interest me. // Characters who are 20+ (mine generally fall anywhere between 20 & 35, favoring the late twenties) // Realistic face-claims.

A little bit about me: I'm a 24 year old female living in the EST timezone // I work full-time and will do my best to balance work and replies and post in a routine, timely manner // My favorite part of role playing is planning. I absolutely adore delving into the details of the small scenes and coming up with (usually) irrelevant (but adorable... or angsty depending on my mood) headcanons for our characters // I enjoy chatting OOC, so don't be shy! // I understand that life comes first. Hell, if you find that you're just not into it and no longer want to participate I'm not going to take it personally if you decide to bail or ditch the roleplay. I'm an adult. I get it. I won't hold a grudge.

Rules and requirements: You must be at least 18 years of age. This isn't an attempt at a knock on the quality of writing of those of you who are underage as I'm well aware that many of you are extremely talented, but as an adult who is well into her twenties the idea of participating in a roleplay with a user who is underage makes me uncomfortable. // Please give me more than one-liners to work with. My post generally fall somewhere around 600-900 words, but I can certainly write more if needed. // Participate in the planning process!

What I'm currently looking for: ...Honestly? Just about anything. I just want an opportunity to expand upon some of my lesser used characters who have been gathering dust as of late. I thoroughly enjoy the boring, romantic slice-of-life type roleplays where we delve into the dynamic between our characters; often opting for the cliche starter ideas and expanding upon them via the planning process to make them much less one dimensional. I love a good deal of angst (physical, emotional, I'm down for all of it), so if we can find a way to shake things up a bit and incorporate that into our story I'll be even happier.

- First meeting. Our characters meet via the friend of a friend... one of them moves next door to the other... they spark conversation after months of seeing each other on public transport, etc. These are generally a pretty safe bet.

- Alternatively... Our characters have been friends for most or a large portion of their lives and make the awkward (initially one-sided) transition into a romantic relationship when one or both of them realize their feelings.
- Or we could keep it completely platonic! I think there's something inherently beautiful about that as well.

- Currently I'm itching to use a newer character of mine, Jaida. She's 26 years old and, by all accounts, a drifter. She adores traveling and connecting with people but, due to a decision that she made in her past whose weight she continues to bear, she fears commitment. I'd love to play her opposite of someone who would keep her tied down... or, alternatively, in a high-energy, borderline toxic relationship that will sweep both of them up and spit them back out. It's up to you! If you have a character who you think would pair well with her or would simply make for a fun dynamic, hit me up!

- If you've seen the San Junipero episode of Black Mirror something similar to that character dynamic might be kind of neat???

- I'm on like my... twentieth play-through of The Last of Us... so post apocalyptic is something that I'm almost always down for

- I'm always willing to hear new ideas and collaborate to figure out something that'll work for both of us. So if you don't see what you're looking for here but have an idea in mind for a FxF pairing don't hesitate to contact me and we'll see if we can work something out!

Various pre-made plots and AUs pulled from the internet: We can shake and mix these up however we like...
