Is there a certain kind of code I'm suppose to use for characters?

not at all! the cs is open for coding (as long as it's not bbcode+ !) to make stuff look more "aesthetically pleasing", but you're absolutely welcome to add no coding at all! and i'm totally fine with you creating your own info (like adding crazy minute details like little scars or their zodiac sign!)
