Name: Nathaniel Quertey
Nickname/title: Professor Quertey
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Appearance: Around 5'8, fairly thin and lanky in form. His skin is fairly light and his hair is a pale whiteish blonde that arranges itself in gentle curls or soft spikes. His eyes, of a light crystalline blue, are a little off, one perpetually stuck dilated, which, along with causing something of a striking physical appearance, leaves him fairly weak to bright lights, though somewhat of a boon in the dark. Furthermore, he has pretty bad astigmatism. These two afflictions combined leave him more blind than most bats. To correct such aliments, he wears a pair of circular, silver rimmed spectacles with one lens shaded, at the trade-off of poor depth perception. Generally, he wears a cloak in the colors of his Coven, grey, white, and blue with the occasional accent of silver with a matching pointed brimless cap.
Personality: Quertey teeters the line between childlike and mature. He generally treats his subject matter with a level of whimsy that lets him get along well with the children he teaches. He also comes off as fairly naiive, but sometimes in reality he's less than he lets on. He generally dislikes taking things very seriously, always trying to put a lighter spin on even the most grave of situations, mostly for the sake of those around him. He has the capability to turn around and act highly mature and seriously pretty quickly, suggesting his more fun personality is partially something put on. Otherwise, he's often a scatterbrain and a klutz, especially when he's highly focused on something. He's quite skilled at magic, especially for his age, and intensely passionate about his craft.
Bio: At the age of 5, Nathaniel's village was taken by a plague. Before he became ill as well, his parents sent him away. Subsequently, he was adopted by a coven and raised there for the rest of his life. At first, he was a rather gloomy child, but eventually developed a love for magic. From then onward, he invested everything he had into practicing magic and honing his craft. In his teenage years, he became known locally as something of a prodigy and became far more serious about his studies. At the age of 18, he accidentally flooded a small village, leading to a year long exile, however he didn't return to civilization until the age of 21. Upon his return, he settled down and built a Coven, spending his time quietly studying, and teaching magic.
Magical Skills: Specializes in water-based magic and is proficient in most other sorts. Has a bit of a flare for theatrics, often developing spells with no purpose other than looking cool.
Extra: Breeds rats & sometimes sells them as pets in his free time.
