When the world was young, the human world and the shadow world, Tenebris roamed free of boundaries and melded with one another. It allowed no limitations, no rules to enclose what one world could do to the other. Demons, faeries, humans and the like all lived together in one world, fighting, loving, letting chaos ensue. Thus, it was thought of that there had to be a line drawn between Tenebris and the human world.
As it is told in old tales, the Chaos that shadowed over all the Earth was once contained in a single box, given by the gods to the mortal, Pandora who had foolishly opened it and let the infernal creatures wreak mayhem all around. But what is not known is that it was but a fraction of chaos that had escaped incarceration and a greater legion of it, a fleet that could destroy all of the Earth in a blink of an eye remained within the constrains of that box which now laid in the hands of those who oversaw Tenebris.
The witches were experts at handling the dark arts as they were followers of the Greater Ones themselves. Some of them were fanatics of the greatest witches and wizards of history. Some descended from them. While the others, the ones who were more privileged, descended directly from the blood of Greater Demons. Therefore the different covens were tasked to guard over ensuring that both worlds would never clash. All the covens were overseen by The Circle, a council of elders, all coming from different covens.
Millenia have passed and the world and Tenebris are relatively in peace. Every century, a different coven hosts the box and every century for as long as time could tell, it was in safe hands. But now, it was within the protection of the Greater Demon, Lilith's children. They were some of the most despised and outcast of all the witches for their power was mysterious and being children of the Mother Demon was always an object of envy.
No one ever really trusted the coven of Lilith. What all the more now that the Box was reported missing under their watch. Anyone, just about anyone could use it to rule over the world now. A complete rule of an overlord could be expected if the box fell into the wrong person's hands. Now,it is up to the coven of Lilith along with that of Morgana le Fay, Rasputin and Circe to retrieve the Box. But when a human infiltrates his way into Tenebris, the Circle and all the covens under it begin to fear that this may truly be the end.

RULES:
1. All the rules of RPNation apply, as usual.
2. Let's keep our replies to a minimum of three paragraphs, please. I understand everyone has slow days but let's try our best to maintain the level of our RP.
3. Everyone is expected to be active, most especially to those who will be coven leaders. One reply a day will do and please always inform us if you cannot be on for some reason lest we brutally kill your character off. xD (Kidding!) (...maybe).
4. Also, being active means help out in the OOC plotting. I do have a storyline in mind but I want it to be dynamic so I'll always be open for suggestions.
5. Let's be creative so, we'll be avoiding Mary Sues and Gary Stus or annoyingly perfect characters. Write the word "warthog" at the beginning of your character sheet if you have read this.
6. Let's try to avoid OOC drama, please.
7. When you have comments, suggestions, violent reactions, please do tell me.
8. No godmodding or the like. Dudes, touch only your own characters. Touching other people is bad.
