It's the year 2045 and a large corporation have created a time machine that can take anyone to any selected time date such as the prehistoric times, medieval times or the 60's, a group of protesters who think people should live in the present instead of changing time and causing a butterfly effect have sneaked into one of the corporations buildings and decided to mess with the only time machine they've made as more were in the process of being made. They started messing with the buttons causing the machine to randomly turn on and began making loud buzzing noises and it was powering up and suddenly a portal opens up in the time machine doorway, one of the protesters goes in and comes back within a few minutes covered in jewels and a shining golden crown and tells the group how awesome it was and the others began to question whether it was ok to go into the past and they decided to go into the portal. But as they step in and begin to disappear the machine begins to malfunction and the date begins to decrease and decrease and sets on a time. (Others are transported to the same world but different locations)
I began to fall through the sky and land in a tree, holding onto the lowest branch but just barely and I bring myself up onto the tree gripping it tightly as I begin to hyperventilate due to my fear of heights, I notice I am completely alone and hear voices coming from below and do my best to stay quiet and listen in on their conversation.
"Did you see that lightning storm, it looked unusual though."
"Yeah, it wasn't like the normal lightning it was like a purplish blue."
"I wonder if it was a Nymph, you know how they can be sometimes."
"Yeah or one of those wizards messing with the clouds again."
I feel something small crawling on my leg and see a creature that looked bug like but had more legs than a normal millipede but the body of a centipede and begin freaking out and brushing the bug off causing me to slip off the branch and fall in between the two people and get knocked unconscious by the fall.
