Personality: Jadah is a chill person, she is sweet like honey and is very outgoing. She’s the type of person who would become best friends with you within a day of meeting her. Although, when she is barrel racing she is very competitive, she can be rude and bossy and if her time is even a millisecond shorter than the person after her she’s extremely rude the entire day.

Bio: Jadah comes from a high class family. Her grandparents bought her current horse for her when she was 10 years old. Jadah started barrel racing at the age of 11, she is an advanced barrel racer. She has a huge bond with her horse and treats it as if it’s one of her family members. Jadah has two sisters, both of which have no interest in horses which agitates her a bit. Jadah is currently single but wants a relationship. Overall, Jadah is very excited for her first year at the Winding Oaks Riding Academy!

Personality: Hades is very aggressive towards other horses, if they are in his kicking range he will most definitely give them a nice strong kick. Hades shows no signs of aggression towards humans unless they provoke him. Hades MUST be in a stall far away from other horses as he will do whatever he can to hurt them. He loves barrel racing and starts trotting in circles anytime he sees a barrel. He will allow women and girls to ride him but he does not allow men or boys. Hades is extremely competitive which makes him and Jadah a great pair for each other.

Alec grew up in a wealthy family. Despite this Alec isnt a prude like many think he is. Sure he doesn't quite understand the concept of money since he was able to buy anything he ever wanted but he is also the type of person to get his friends nice things. This aspect of him leads to people trying to be his friend for those perks so he can be very guarded on who he actually lets get close to him. It is even harder for him to make friends due to the fact that his mother owns and runs the school. When you make it past his wall he is a very friendly guy (not that hes outright rude to people in general. He is nice) and will help them anyway he can.
Bio:
Alec is the only child of Olympic Medalist Suzy Rosewood, who also owns and runs the college. . As such he has grown up around horses his entire life and started riding and competing at a very young age. Starting in middle school he helped his mom ride her more sane horses and competed on her horse. He was gifted his own foal to raise in High School. That filly was Echo and she is his most prized possession. While going through training she showed a passion for jumping and he decided to follow his mother and be an eventer. (even though Echo wasn't a fan of dressage). Before entering the academy he had a name for himself in the show world. Along with the equestrian focus, Alec is a business major for he wants to open up his own training facility.

She know's when there is someone inexperience on her and will literally not move or throw a hissy fit. Echo has a typical mare attitude especially when in heat. She is very food motivated and can be food aggressive when eating with other horses.​

Personality: A extremely extroverted women who thrives in any social situation that she is thrown into. This young rider is extremely charming with people gravitating towards her like she were a magnet. Paisley Halt just has that 'it' factor that makes you want to get to know her or hate her. Paisley is well known in the horse world, she's an up and coming star whose expected to take part in all the major horse trials upon her graduation from Winding Oaks. Paisley is extremely competitive and this can sometimes cloud her judgement, this competitiveness stems from her fear of embarrassing her father's reputation but sometimes this fear is her greatest weakness. Apart from her passion to be the best rider she can be Paisley Halt has always been a bit of a flirt, during international competitions her French accent just seems to make people weak at the knees. She's a gorgeous girl who speaks the language of love, who wouldn't use that to their advantage.

Bio: Daughter of a the former French Olympic champion for Cross Country , Paisley has been on a horse since she could walk. It was her hobby for a while but at the age of 7 Paisley decided that she wanted to be at the same level as her father one day. Having a Olympic champion father really did help, she had an advantage from the beginning her father's influence gaining his daughter private lessons from Olympic coaches. Her horses were treated no different then royalty, housed in some of the most luxurious stables France had to offer. Paisley had always ridden her father horses until on her 15th birthday one of her father's breeding mares gave birth to the beautiful colt that is now know as Wild Max. Max and Paisley grew up together as Max helped Paisley take her riding to the next level as he'd always been a extremely energetic horse and Paisley helped Max become the fearless horse his is day. Wild Max and Paisley Halt are the pair to beat in any Cross Country or Hunting Event but Paisley isn't about to let you win so easily.

Personality: Wild Max is determined horse, he is always up for a challenge and loves to explore the world around him unfortunate enough for Paisley who sometimes has to trek a couple of miles into field to find what he's discovered this time. The majority of the time Max is a gentle giant who likes to get along with other horses and place nice but other times he can become quite feisty and this is mainly when Paisley is involved. Paisley is the one who cared for him since he was a foal, she broke him in and taught him everything he knew and so the horse and grown extremely fond of her and won't tolerate other horses hurting whether it be by accident or intentional. Overall, Max is a extremely gifted horse who can pick up knew skills quickly and who isn't afraid of challenging himself.​

Personality: Disciplined, hard-working and self-assured, impeccably polite. Likes to plan things in advance, and also to get as much information as possible on situations so that if he has to improvise he knows what he has to improvise with. Has a naturally approachable manner but finds it hard to open up and make close friends.
Bio: British-born and raised into money and privilege, including a nanny, boarding-school and, naturally, ponies. His academic school results are relatively good but attained with only average ability and a lot of hard work. He did better at sport, being naturally athletic, and represented his school in both rugby and cricket. He started playing polo competitively with the Pony Club shortly before his tenth birthday and hopes to turn professional after graduation. His parents are uncertain about the last part, but polo is a perfectly acceptable hobby and they have provided him with the very best of training while insisting that he had to prove his skill rather than simply being handed the best of horses. He did the best he could with his first polo pony (lower levels of Pony Club polo must be played on ponies that also participate in other disciplines, so he was sixteen when he started riding his first true polo pony), and was eventually rewarded for his efforts: his second horse Dora is an import from Argentina who has already been ridden in high-level competitions over there and was a gift for his twenty-first birthday. Sean adores her and is working hard to form the best partnership he can.

His major is Politics, not because it particularly interests him or because he has any special aptitude for it but because it is a subject his parents approved of.

Personality: A bit of a diva, easily upset by changes in routine, bullies weaker horses so has to be turned out with horses that will stand up for themselves. When she is good she is excellent, and she is known for being particularly handy at ride-offs. When she is upset she kicks, bucks, naps, nips and refuses to listen. Sean is pretty good at handling her quirks as he has been riding her for the last five years, but a stranger would probably find her hard to manage.

Personality: Calm in the stable and field, gets along very well with other horses. Her quiet but confident behaviour seems to soothe horses that would otherwise not do well around others of their own species. Under saddle she is alert, agile, quick, sensitive to her rider, obedient, competitive and brave. As an experienced polo pony she is totally unbothered by loud crowds, sudden noises and movements, or galloping herds of over-excited horses so the professors sometimes have Sean and Dora accompany nervous horses and their riders to give them confidence and a calm role model.

Personality: Straightforward, practical, self-reliant, unselfconscious, cool-headed risk-taker, in it for the skill and not the prize. Can be seen as blunt and perhaps a little tactless. Many might also view her as a country bumpkin, unfamiliar with city life or, really, any life beyond her little Welsh world. Fluent in both English and Welsh, loves singing, likes jokes, parties hard and enthusiastically. Those who see her first in an informal and casual setting are often surprised to see her switch gears into thoroughly level-headed competency in an emergency.
Bio: Kerry’s father breeds and shows Welsh Cobs, so Kerry has been handling, riding and showing them pretty much her whole life and started learning to break them in before she reached her teens. She grew up among the Welsh mountains of Snowdonia, and is an experienced climber for her age with a good weather eye, self-reliance and three years' experience volunteering with Mountain Rescue*. As well as Welsh Cobs, Kerry’s family runs a flock of around a thousand Welsh Mountain sheep. Kerry is well used to their care and has competed without disgracing herself in junior-level sheepdog trials. Her horse was supposed to be a pure-bred Welsh Cob; when he was born, it was clear he couldn’t be (Welsh Cobs are always a solid colour, and he was piebald or black tobiano). Kerry successfully begged her father to give her the colt, and she broke and has so far trained him herself. The experience helped her win a grant to fund study abroad. Kerry hasn’t come straight from school, she’s spent a year as a working shepherd to supplement the grant.

Personality: A little horse with a big heart and a big personality, who’ll try anything asked of him and apparently has springs instead of legs. Green, and lacking in the speed needed to make a really a top eventer, but very agile, willing and clever. Some would say too clever: he can undo bolts, latches, doors with handles, lead-rope knots, and, if you’re not careful, you’ll find him in your kitchen stealing the cookies. (OOC: Basically, the horse equivalent of the class clown. If you need a mischievous-but-not-nasty troublemaker to let all the other horses out of their boxes, or to steal and run off with your character’s hat/whip/wallet/phone/hairbrush, or to to grab the end of the hose and spray the whole yard, or to have everybody scratching their heads over how on Earth he ended up on the roof- and over how he managed to get back down again when nobody was looking so that the rescuers called then refused to believe he had ever been there and assumed it must have been a prank call- feel free to borrow him)

*The training for Mountain Rescue in the UK is two years part time before you attend call-outs, so Kerry has had a year on active duty. The training includes mountaineering, navigation, ropework, avalanche awareness, First Aid and mountain casualty care, search and rescue, and teamwork, with specific training on operating in cooperation with helicopter support and with search and rescue trained dogs. Call-outs can be at any time of day or night, in any weather, at any time of year, and all active duty rescuers must be competent to deal with that.

He is a biomedical engineering major mostly because he would like to be a doctor in the future which usually surprises most people. He does not stress about competitions and lives life one day at a time.

• Personality: Cocky, charismatic, and certain that he’s the most clever person in any room, Devin can be incredibly abrasive. Running mostly on espresso, red wine, and spite, he’s constantly in motion and juggling multiple projects at any given time, both personal and school-related. He has a not undeserved reputation for being an asshole, which he'll cheerfully admit to, but he's definitely not out to hurt anyone who hasn't hurt him first--he's just self-absorbed and a little careless when it comes to other people's feelings, though he's fiercely protective of anyone he considers his.
  
  Bio: From a moneyed Boston family, you know, the kind in politics with a monster house on the Cape. Despite this, most of Devin's childhood was spent as a semi-feral barn brat, romping through the pastures of high end hunter/jumper barns looking for thrown shoes, getting covered in mud, and harassing the barn cats. Devin was heavily involved with Pony Club as a child, and Trick was purchased when Devin was sixteen as a horse scopey enough to move him through his C levels and higher. Devin's parents, being rather more concerned with looking good over anything else, had tried to purchase big, showy warmbloods for him, but Devin and his trainer conspired together to get something that Devin considered a reasonable size. He's also a member of the Myopia hunt club, though where their seasons are spring and fall, he hasn't been able to participate as much since he started at Winding Oaks.
  
  Though deeply competitive, Devin has no real desire to become a professional rider. He's majoring in art history with plans to go on to grad school, and likes to tell people he's either going to go into restoration or forgery after graduating. Stubborn, clever, and possessed with a sense of his own dignity, most people find Trick rather difficult to work with, though Devin insists you just need to accept that you aren't smarter than the horse and just need to get out of his way. Trick genuinely enjoys working, and will cause problems if he's left to his own devices out of boredom. On strict pasture board only, as he will begin to dismantle a stall if left unsupervised in one for more than a few hours. Personality: Leo can come off a little strong due to his appearance. He is a stern instructor which inherited from Suzy (Headmistress) despite this he is willing to go above and beyond for his students and will answer any questions they may have about the school, horses or just in general. Outside of the classroom her mostly keeps to himself and trains his horse along with a few client's horses.
Bio: Leo has been training under Suzy since high school. Despite being american his family had uprooted themselves due to a job opening in South Korea and that was when he met Suzy. While studying under Suzy he competed in eventing and even worked on horses with her till he moved back to america to do the Mustang Makeover which is how he got his stallion Bubba. It was because of this he got into the western discipline. When Suzy told him her academy now offered graduate programs in equine studies he decided to move to Sweden to help her teach lessons along with learn more from her.

Other: Bubba has a wide variety of skills but his primary training is in barrels due to loving to go fast. He also likes going over jumps occasionally. / He does have a pasture buddy named Coco who is a mini gelding and is the only horse he is allowed to be in a pasture with.

She is loyal to those that prove to be good friends of hers. She is an photography major and is very artistic when she's not on the horse. She sometimes doubts her skills in riding when she compares herself to other riders. She's witty once you get to know her. She keeps her composure but she holds grudges.


Bio (At least one paragraph): Her dad is the stable master as the stable master at Winding Oaks' and is the big reason why she can afford to attend. Her dad used to ride in rodeos and grew up in them. Griffin grew up in different horse stables with his dad and younger sister. She used to ride horses at the rodeo with her dad and she's been in love with riding ever since. Her brother introduced her to jumping and even though he does not do it anymore she still does. She often draws. When her mom left them she took it the hardest. She never forgave her and has a hard time trusting people because of it. Brynn loves photography because photos last and they never leave her. She takes competition photos for people but portraits are her favorite.

Appearance: Frequently mistaken for a student because she looks so young for her age.


Year in school: Instructor (Equine anatomy, physiology and bio-mechanics, lower level dressage, freestyle dressage) and freestyle dressage choreographer.

Discipline: Dressage, Musical Kur

Personality: Quiet, shy and modest, she cares deeply about her students and goes out of her way to help them in their studies. She is both an academic (with a doctorate in Equine Bio-Mechanics) and a nerd (with a particular love of science fiction), making her something of a misfit among many equestrian types, and she has a quirkily creative streak that she doesn't often publicise. She seldom voices an opinion unless asked for it, except when it is expected of her in her role as instructor. She values cooperation and loyalty, and thinks poorly of cheating and selfishness.

Bio: Chiyo has always been an outlier; being a pony-mad girl is not exactly common in Japan. She learned to ride by trading stableyard labour for informal lessons, even though it meant riding her bicycle ten miles each way to get there. Going further in the field meant earning training scholarships, as her family were not rich enough to fund regular riding lessons in a country where horse riding was not widespread, so she studied diligently in all her subjects in order to win them. That included languages, because she knew that she would eventually need to study abroad if she wanted to take her riding to an international level, and she is fluent in English and German as well as Japanese. Summer schools and student exchanges allowed her to follow her dreams of training in Germany, where she focused on Dressage and first met her eventual love: Musical Freestyle.

If she had been born into a different background, or in a different country, with easier access to training from childhood and a better supply of good horses, perhaps she would have been an international Grand Prix dressage rider by now. As it is, she is an Intermediate international dressage rider (and only riding for her country because there are so few riders in Japan anyway) with a growing reputation as a skilled choreographer, having a particular talent for creating routines that showcase the best of a horse's talents without leaving out any essential elements. She also has a reputation for picking quirky music for her own freestyle routines, usually Star Wars soundtracks, although she is not competing much at the moment because her International horse has recently been retired and her current mount is still very young. She jumped at the chance to take up an instructor's position at Winding Oaks, as there would be some opportunity to continue her own riding training as well.

Has trouble remembering where his back legs are, likely to walk into doorways if not reminded to pay attention when walking through them, toss a coin whether a plastic bag in the wind holds an imaginary lion or an imaginary carrot. Will do almost anything for food or praise, unless there's a mare in season nearby and then all bets are off. Overly eager to please, and therefore likely to hare off doing the wrong thing. When he's persuaded to calm down, slow down and focus, he shows the ability and athleticism that Chiyo first spotted in him as a gawky and clumsy two-year-old. Tends to defer to older horses regardless of their size, which can be quite entertaining when he gets bossed about by a mini. No doubt this will change as he matures and works out that he's a stallion all the time and not just when mares smell interesting.

  Bio: From a moneyed Boston family, you know, the kind in politics with a monster house on the Cape. Despite this, most of Devin's childhood was spent as a semi-feral barn brat, romping through the pastures of high end hunter/jumper barns looking for thrown shoes, getting covered in mud, and harassing the barn cats. Devin was heavily involved with Pony Club as a child, and Trick was purchased when Devin was sixteen as a horse scopey enough to move him through his C levels and higher. Devin's parents, being rather more concerned with looking good over anything else, had tried to purchase big, showy warmbloods for him, but Devin and his trainer conspired together to get something that Devin considered a reasonable size.
  
  Though deeply competitive, Devin has no real desire to become a professional rider. He's majoring in art history with plans to go on to grad school, and likes to tell people he's either going to go into restoration or forgery after graduating. Bio (At least one paragraph): Ying Hua is a foreign exchange student from China. She grew up as the second child of the Wong family and due to being female she was neglected most of the time for her parents preferred to focus on their son. Ying Hua was late to the equine game. She only started riding a few years ago and was told she was a natural at it. Due to being kind of shy Ying Hua decided to pursue polo because she would be forced to interact with her team members.
Ying Hua's coach mentioned that she should apply for the foreign exchange program they had with Winding Oaks' (her trainer was friends with the Headmistress) for she she would get better training opportunities through the school. She was lucky enough to be picked and she took her two boys with her to Sweden.

BACKGROUND //
Unlike many people at the school, she was not born into a life of luxury and opportunity. She is the youngest of seven children and is the only girl on top of it. Her family lived out in the country of Northern Scotland, enjoying a simple life of breeding horses and training them. While they had money, they didn't have enough to send their children to private schools and to foreign countries. Growing up, Finlay wasn't babied or loved more than the rest of her siblings, instead, she was pressured very quickly into finding something she was good at. Her brothers mainly focused on the business or training the horses but Finlay, well she found her calling in riding.

She didn't really understand what competing was and simply road for fun, getting trained by her brothers whenever they had a spare moment. As she grew older her passion and talent soon began to shine and her parents got her into eventing. It was a completely different animal and caliber than what she was used to. Still, she dove headfirst into it and began competing whenever she could. She wasn't the best and it was difficult for her to even place for a long time. She almost gave up, mainly after she got into a nasty accident in one competition. This had caused her to retake her a year due to being hospitalized and not meeting her credentials in time. But she stuck with it and continued to improve herself as an athlete.

That was when Batal was born at a family friend's stable. One of their Arabian mare's they had purchased from the Addair's had gotten loose with the Thoroughbred stallions and that was it. Batal was like no other horse Finlay had ever really been around and the connection was undeniable. The family bought him and he became a project for the young girl. Their bond was only strengthened by the tireless hours and years that went into raising him and training him. By the time they stepped into the ring, they were on fire. She began to place and people began to take notice of her. She managed to land a good scholarship to a nice college but it wasn't what she wanted. So she reached out to a trainer that was highly regarded and asked for a recommendation.

Via the trainer's recommendation and the videos that were submitted, Finlay was accepted into Winding Oaks, but it was halfway through the year which caused her to be rather out of place, especially around some of the richest people she had ever met. But what is more fun than a challenge?

He is incredibly intelligent and picks up on things quite quickly. While he prefers jumping and excels at cross country specifically, he will still quiet down enough for dressage. It's his least favorite thing to do but he will do it after making a small fuss before entering the ring. He doesn't have issues with other horses and gets along with them, but he is the type to assume a more dominating role if provoked, despite being a gelding. He also knows some cues in Gaelic since she had free time to teach him it.

PERSONALITY // Mila is often described as reserved, elegant, and mysterious. She is someone that keeps her thoughts and opinions to herself unless they are asked for and she always carries herself with a certain gracefulness that almost seems royal in a sense. BACKGROUND // Ever since she could walk, Mila has been on a horse and told that this would be her future. You see, her family is one of the oldest equestrian families in Germany and has always lived up to the family name over the generations. She was the only child born between her parents as her mother passed away after she turned two. It was tragic for the family, but she was far too young to remember anything about her mother. Growing up, she was taught the manners of a princess if you will, always told to behave, to not speak unless prompted to, to do her work without complaint, and to do it perfectly. It was strict and gave her little room to grow outside of the mold her family had put her in.

As she grew up, she was pressed to pick one discipline that she would pursue for the rest of her equestrian career. This is when she found a raw talent in dressage. It suited her image, personality, and comfortability so she began to pursue it. She never owned a horse for personal attachment and was encouraged to try new horses whenever it seemed she was getting stuck at a certain level. As she climbed the ranks, her parents realized she needed a horse that they could train to grow with their daughter so it was easier for her to stay consistent. This is when they took her to a prestigious stable in Germany to try out a stallion named Artistotle. The horse they originally planned to buy had been bought only 48 hours prior to their arrival but she insisted on trying the grey stallion.

The connection was natural, almost as if they were made for each other. The pair's temperament was the same and the gracefulness of their movements was stunning. It wasn't long before a check was signed and they were getting ready to get the horse shipped to their private stables. Suddenly Mila found herself excited to train and to get back into the ring. She finally had a relationship to count on, one that she wouldn't lose. Her bond with Aristotle became a very strong one and they were often going on leisurely rides after lessons and just enjoying the company of each other and nature. They found themselves eager to move on and get to more challenging levels, so her parents made a few phone calls.

Her parents eventually decided that they wanted her to get looked at by the top equestrian colleges in the country so they invited many to one of her rather important shows. A scout from Winding Oaks had tagged along and found themselves interested in looking at the girl as she was from a very renowned family. They were impressed by Mila so a formal invitation to the school was made to the girl, and naturally, she accepted as she felt it was a better fit for her. This was everything her parents had hoped for, it was the beginning to a long and successful career in the dressage ring, blue ribbons and trophies decorating her house. It was all within arm's length and they were eager to see her get it.

He is a focused horse during lessons and competitions, but he is also overly cautious and sometimes will fall off his rhythm if he messes up once. This has caused him to be a very anxious horse before big competitions but they've been working on it together. He doesn't particularly enjoy other people riding him, at least when it comes to dressage. Obviously intelligent, it's not surprising that he is very good at his discipline, however, he enjoys jumping a lot and loves when Mila takes him out to just jump and relax. He has been trained by Mila to respond to cues in Dutch rather than English.

PERSONALITY // Hotheaded and lazy, this boy tends to be on the 'bad side' if you will. People have caught him smoking and drinking during school breaks or simply flirting with girls during lessons whenever the teacher isn't paying attention. Obviously he's gifted and smart, so he gets away with a lot of things because it goes unnoticed by those around him. He's an expert at lying and is able to lie out of awkward situations with ease. He has a bad mouth when he's angry and tends to hold grudges far longer than the average person. He appears to be very lazy and laid back, but it's mostly just out of defiance against his parents than anything else.

BACKGROUND // Born out of an affair while Mila's mother was in the hospital, Ezra always had a bit of a chip off his shoulder. He didn't like the lavish lifestyle he had to adapt to and all the rules he had to follow. Even as a child, he felt out of place, and like he didn't belong there. His older sister was the definition of prim and proper which only irritated him further. But despite this, his mother was very happy so he swallowed his pride and did what he was told. This resulted in him getting into riding, something he was determined to do poorly at, even if it wasn't on purpose. But it seemed that his genetics didn't allow for that to happen, much to his disappointment.

Just like his sister, he was pressured to choose a single discipline so he would only have one to work on, however, he didn't want that. Going against the wishes and traditions of his family, he insisted upon evening, saying that he would end his riding career before it even took off if he couldn't. A desperate way to rebel, he became to seek out ways to escape his family and the role they were forcing him to play. He didn't want to live a life like his sister because he knew how lonely and frustrating it was for her. So he chose eventing and began to look for a horse that would suit his particular needs.

His father didn't enjoy the idea of looking for an eventing horse as it took far longer for them to find a suitable one for Ezra. It wasn't until he was in his junior year of high school that they found Fleur over in France when on a family holiday. Her owner had reached out to the family when he heard they were in town and insisted that their son tried her out. He wasn't exactly sold on her at first due to how hot she was and the amount of concentration it took to get her collected and responsive. But when he realized that she seemed to reflect his own personality so he asked to try her out again. The second day was much better and the pair seemed to work together more than before.

She was bought and ready to come home with them, but it also meant that his parents had to find a way to get Ezra into Winding Oaks as well. It was more difficult due to the fact there were more students competing in eventing. They pushed their son to do more, to take on bigger competitions, and for some reason, the fiery duo ended up getting noticed. It seemed that cross country specifically caused the attention to be shifted to them due to how fast they take on courses (while staying on the mark ofc). But this was the last thing Ezra wanted. Unfortunately, his parents convinced him to go and so he packed up to head off to Winding Oaks.

PERSONALITY // Much like her owner, she is a very hot and headstrong horse. She tends to do things fast and wildly if you will, not really thinking about the next two jumps, but just how high and fast she can go. When turned out, she is always running around and making a lot of noise, sometimes disturbing the quieter horses in order to get someone interested in what she's doing. It's obvious that she gets bored easily and rather hates dressage, mostly acting up whenever she's having a lesson because of how collected and calm she must be. When other people ride her, she has relatively good manners but she has a tendency to bolt when she sees an open field. Taught to respond to French cues, he spent a long time training her to instead respond to Italian ones as he never trusted other people to not mess around with his horse.

Ryu is what you would expect a hunter princess to be. She is spoiled and used to getting what she wants. Her looks very much help with this matter and she uses it to her advantage whenever she can. Ryu is also very smart and tactical. She knows when she shouldn't force her way.

Bio (At least one paragraph):
Ryujin's father is a very famous biochemical geneticist who makes a ton of money to the point where her mother never had to work. She is the eldest child of her family, having two younger brothers. Being the only daughter she was a daddy's girl and got whatever she wanted. Ryujin can't particularly remember what got her into horses, whether it was due to their grace and beauty or because the boy she liked also rode. It was most likely a mix of both. When she first started riding her father bought her the best the horse money could buy as well as the best trainer. It was eventually found that she was adept at jumping, particularly in the hunter ring.

In middle school school she took a break from riding to work on her modeling career. It was only when she realized that she could model in the horse industry that she started riding again. This time she decided to start her own horse and not have a push button horse. She wanted people to know that she was a good rider because she truly was, not because she could afford a finished horse. Still that didn't stop her from getting one of the best breed horse money could buy. She did have a trainer break him in but after that she trained him her self. By the time she graduated high school she was one of the best riders in her country.

Before she quit riding for a short time in high school, she had met Suzy and Alec during her travels in the country. At first sight she knew she wanted him but he wanted nothing to do with her. They were on pleasant terms because his mother loved her. Suzy enjoyed seeing such a talented young rider from her home country. She used this to try and get closer to Alec with no avail. It took her speaking to her father to finally get an arrangement made between the two. One Alec chooses to ignore completely. (an arrangement that will be found out not too long after she joins the rp)

For college you would think she'd go to the school the boy she liked was going to but she decided that to show him that she was serious about riding and not just doing it because of him she ended up going to a different equestrian college and by junior year she became the captain of the hunter jumper team.

Personality: He carries his scars as a badge of honour, and the pain of his past is inked into his skin. He's come through it all, and found peace. He has endless patience and kindness, both for horses and humans, and a remarkable understanding of human nature for someone so young. He has the dogged determination to keep getting back up no matter how many times he's down. He also has an unquenchable will to win- but not at any cost. He knows only too well what that cost can be.
Walks with a slight limp due to a bad ankle injury when he was younger. He tries to never need to show it, but when push comes to shove he's very handy in a fight. Tends to use swearwords as a sort of verbal punctuation mark.
Bio: He doesn't talk about his family. Records show that there were many interactions with Social Services, and his home address was in one of the worst parts of the city. He had two escapes- football (that's soccer to those on the west side of the pond), and a quirky little riding stables stranded inside the expanding city limits. Those who know him best would say that the proprietor of the stables, Jada Banfield, was more of a parent to him than anybody else ever was. He had hopes of being selected for Manchester United football team, having played well in their youth squad, but a major coach crash on the way back from a game wrecked both his ankle and his potential career. Mentally scarred, angry and bereft, it was a tipping point that threatened to lead him into violence and crime. With support from Jada he threw himself fully into horses instead, and his talent blossomed.

He was spotted at a show by dressage stud owner Paul Adeyemi, who saw past the boy's startlingly gruesome tattoos and socially-unacceptable piercings and started having him ride for the stud. It gave Chess a chance to access some really top-quality mounts and helped the stud showcase their up and coming youngsters, a win-win situation all round, if one dogged by prejudice. But then Paul Adeyemi was no stranger to facing prejudice in the equestrian world, given his ethnic background. Chess proved to have an especially deft touch with the more sensitive and talented horses, the ones who could really shine but whose light could as easily be doused by heavy-handed or unsympathetic riding. He's done well at several major shows across Britain and Europe, steadily climbing the ranks, with a reputation for consistency, even temper and colourful language. Jana and Paul between them sponsored Chess into his current equestrian school. Paul has loaned him a horse for the whole of his time there, on the understanding that Chess will continue her schooling to the highest level possible while there.

Maxim or Max for short, is a very shy and quiet human when she’s outside of her home country, Russia. When she’s with family or friends her entire personality changes and she becomes a silly, loud person. She loves to have fun and especially loves her horse, Sassy. Max may come off as “too quiet” when you first meet her but as time goes on she’ll warm up and eventually will blab on to you about the littlest of things. When Max is trick riding she doesn’t focus on winning or showing off, she just cares about having fun, when she watches others compete she’ll murmur little “yippees” and “good jobs!” Max is overall a sweet, fun loving teen.

Backstory: ​

Max comes from a rich family, her grandparents had been extremely rich owning 3 different size-able homes. When they had passed, Max’s family inherited all of their homes and valuables including money. Max’s parents decided to sell the 2 homes they had inherent and kept only one. With the money they had, Max was able to get an Akhal-Teke. Max began trick riding when she was around 7 years old, she actually didn’t mean to do a trick it just kind of happened. One day, she was going for her usual ride on her mother’s old horse, Steward, when she accidentally slipped down as he was galloping through the fields, while she was hanging on she decided to try something she had seen before. As Steward continued to gallop, oblivious to what was occurring, Max lowered herself closer to the ground and reached out her hand to touch it. This was when Max realized trick riding was something she could do.

Yes, Max does know English and she is pretty fluent, with only a few mistakes every now and then. Max studied English starting when she was 11 and continued it ever since. Russian is still her first language but she knows she will have to use English for all of the time she is in Sweden. (Also, Max has a heavy Russian accent which makes some of her words a bit hard to understand)

Sassy has about the same personality as her name. She has typical mare attitude but with a bit of a twist. She loves all humans as well as geldings. Stallions are okay but she’s a bit tense around them for fear that they’ll mount her, mares though, well that’s where she turns sassy. Every-time Sassy is around a mare she’ll stick her nose and tail up and walk as high as she can around them, snorting every once and a while. Sassy has never been physically aggressive with another mare but she certainly has given aggressive stares. When Sassy is competing she does not focus on winning or showing off but she rather focuses on looking elegant and unbothered. Spectators find this rather amusing and often pay more attention to the way Sassy gracefully moves around instead of the teen performing dangerous acts on her back.
