With smoke billowing from the corner of his mouth, Decimus would carefully unfold the paper he had found inside the confines of the metal strongbox. Meanwhile, he listened to Yunaesa's own findings when reading through the papers scattered across the tables. "[So, someone has been studying how to patchwork-together constructs using different pieces... that rules out a few possibilities.]" It felt unlikely that, whoever was the responsible for all of this, was someone with cash. Otherwise, why not buy the constructs and recommission for these nefarious ends? Unless...

Putting those thoughts aside, the old soldier focused on the paper he held on his gloved hands. Ashen eyes quickly scanned its contents. "[Seems like we have a map of the border.]" He said initially, examining all the locations that were written on it. Well, at least the locations that were in Terran, as he didn't know Sylvan, nor did he care to learn it. Stepping towards officer Surius, he handed over the parchment to him.

"[Every single route of that map seems to go towards that area, the big scrapyard we saw during our previous deployment. It could be safe to say that there is a good possibility of something very important being there, possibly even the basis of operation behind these attacks of the transports.]" Crossing one of his arms across his chest, the other one moved towards his collar, his gloved fingers fiddling with it.

"[While I still can't think of a reason why the transports were being attacked, terrorism doesn't really need to make sense.]" He added, knowing very well for it to be true. The terror and destabilizing of a country sometimes was the only real reason behind such acts that had no other logic behind them. "[What do you think, sir? Should we report back and embark in this new investigation?]"

Yunaesa nodded

“[Yeah it looks it! Based on the readings it also looks like they were looking at how to do it on a larger scale too! Thus why the big guy right there I think.]”

She then made her way over next to Decimus and took a gander at the map with bright eyes, before her expression became a bit more focused and serious, scanning over the whole thing with a greater focus.

Officer Surius

Officer Surius took a gander at the map himself accepting it with his own gloved hands. His eye lit up a bit as a greenish glow fell over the map as if he was appraising the item itself, reading each location and accessing it.

“[I think you’d be correct Cadet Valerius.]” He’d respond with a nod.

“[I can see the pattern which you are mentioning, that scrapyard is now an area of interest as far as I’m concerned, I’m sure the upper brass will feel similarly once we report this back to them.]”

“[The purpose of the last attack is still somewhat of an enigma, but it could also be possible that it wasn’t coordinated by them, We’ll need to have the bodies of the hijacked constructs thoroughly analyzed.]”

“[It is worth noting that there have been some other attacks where goods were in fact stolen unlike the last, but whether they are connected will likely need to be corroborated with the routes on this map..]”

The Officer then looked to the Cadet. “[Yes, now that we’ve cleared the area of hostiles as far as we are aware we should create formal report, bring it back, and if things go the way I’m predicting they’ll resupply us and send us out to the scrapyard designated on this map for further investigation, while simultaneously sending out an investigation unit. I’ll keep some soldiers stationed here in the meantime so that nobody gets up to any funny business.]”

“[Good work everyone.]”
He’d speak with a somewhat serious look but with a small smile when all was said and done.
====
WIth that the group was able to regroup, make it back to the transit and file reports to their Widersian Military higher ups for further instruction.
