Why is it a font works in one post and not another?

So I absolutely love using fonts and I've taken to writing my posts in Microsoft Word so I can just copy paste the fonts I want. I've really noticed that sometimes when I copy paste that they don't copy right and end up as the default font on the site. However when I copy and paste against sometime later or perhaps in a PM or my Private Workshop it works perfectly fine and I've done nothing different at all. Even when I attempt copy and pasting from those to my RP sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It also seems to happen to some fonts far more than others. I can't seem to find a reason for this. Any help would be appreciated.

Like this font. It’s called Dutch Tulips and it works here

However when I copy and pasted a post I made in word with this font it didn't work.

The copy and paste feature may not always be accurate.  As a note, anyone who does not have Dutch Tulips will not be able to see it function.  On my screen, it looks like Times New Roman.  Dutch Tulip is also probably not a web safe font, meaning that it won't register regularly like other fonts, such as Ariel, Comic Sans, or Georgia.

On that note, all Google Fonts should be web safe fonts (thus everyone will be able to see them) so using fonts from there is generally a good idea.

You need to use the CSS coding to get google fonts to work on the site at the moment, though. If someone doesn't have 500 posts, they can't use that coding.

This user has well over 500 posts, so I think @Jaye's information is still relevant. ^^

Do they know how to use the coding, though? That's another question. Referring someone to google fonts when they don't know html or css is not very functional from my understanding. And this thread could be looked at by other people with similar questions. I think it was/is important to note that using google fonts requires 500 posts and a very basic knowledge of html/css.
