  Maddie loves attention--she absolutely craves it. It doesn't matter what kind of attention Madelynn receives--good or bad--as long as she receives it. Through flirting, manipulation, and betrayal, she's willing to sacrifice it all to make it to the top of the social ladder. Madelynn stops at nothing to achieve her goals, even if it means crushing the dreams of others in the process.
  
  
  Truthfully, behind the big personality and princess-like attitude, Maddie's comparable to a lost puppy. Without its master, it's lost, running around in circles from person to person, seeing if anyone is willing to claim it. She always craves approval, and only feels accepted through waves of compliments. Like any human being, she's often lonely. Through loneliness surfaces insecurities, which often leads to the questions: am I not good enough... Why don't they like me? Why don't they accept me? If not for my pretty face... Would I even be viewed as a human being?
  
  
  
  
  
  At a young age, Madelynn was abandoned in the cruelest way. Purposefully, her parents had brought her to a crowded shopping mall, leaving her in her favorite toy store. They had promised to come back to get her, right after they stopped by to pick up a coffee down the street. Minutes led to hours, and they never returned. Even police searches and come up with nothing. Their existence had been wiped off the face of the Earth, leaving a young Madelynn behind. She couldn't help but wonder: was it her fault? Was she not good enough for her parents? As she grew up, she sought after the attention and love denied of her from her parents through different titles--"Queen Bee... Princess... Beautiful..."--etc. The only time she would feel content, accepted, would be when she received praise, and felt like the center of attention.

Jarrod real likes to keep it causal and loose. He throws a sweater on for a more formal look, usually just throws on a flannel, some jeans, and his lucky black converse sneakers for a day of...stuff.

||H I S T O R Y||

There isn't much to say about his family life. Jarrod is an only child, born to his mother and her alone. It wasn't like he didn't have a father figure at all. His mom was both, being whatever he needed whenever he needed her. When push came to shove, she enlisted to keep food on the table and obtain a higher education. Their family was moved around plenty, often out of their comfort zones, and yet his mom wore her uniform with pride. Jarrod had his own reservations about the military but he respected his mother's profession. The only drawback to his childhood was that he never really had a true friend.


Jarrod had moved 6 times in his life. In those moves, he’d managed to become self-sufficient to a certain degree. It wasn't because his mom wasn't always around. He just didn't want to be something else she had to worry about. Jarrod figured he could be compliant enough so she could be less stressed.


That kinda skipped a beat when he came out. He’d known about his sexuality for a while, and it wasn't something he wanted to push under the rug. His mom did. Her faith just didn't allow that sort of thing. Regardless, Jarrod thought it was the kind of thing that sharply defined who he was. Sure, it didn't change him on the outside. But it made him proud to declare a part of who he was. The result? His mom made one final move as a last ditch effort to get him to see “reason”. She honestly told him that a new scene would probably make him see reason. Jarrod knows better. But, he still followed her. Because he loved his mother, he thoroughly believed that this was something they can work past, and he was used to being the new guy. Just another red pin to push into the map of his life.


||P E R S O N A L I T Y||


Jarrod is a walking saltlick. He doesn't hold his tongue for anyone, especially someone who has brushed his buttons. Although it sounds harsh, this is the reaction you want from him. He is the type of person who plots out revenge schemes for fun. And if you are tangled in his web you can expect to go down in flames.


Outside of his Lord of War persona he is a pretty chill guy. Even though he's bit of a nerd with an obsession over DC comic characters, he speaks 4 languages and could drop panties with all of them(though he prefers boxer-briefs). But keep in mind: 1. He is allergic to dogs;2. He's an awful cook; and 3. He can't scream in a way that you can take seriously. Seriously.

"Jay, it looks like we have neighbors across the way. The Olsen's, I think." The light that flooded the room almost seared his eyes out. Jarrod sprung forward, trying to shield himself from the ungodly view of the sun. "Geez, why is the morning so loud today?" he groaned, pushing his comforter off and revealing his nighttime attire of boxer shorts and an open button down. Both were unbearably plaid and did not match at all.


"Mom, why? I know you are used to being up at the crack of God's ass A.M., but I like to get a decent eight hours." he hissed, rubbing his eyes with he backs of his hands. "Well, if you wouldn't be up all night." Ms. McAllister chimed in. "I get to bed at 11pm. Not because I'm a prude, but because I have no one to talk to but grandma. And she's in Boca, with the swim instructor. Remember?" He pulled his jeans on, hopping a bit to get the snug-ish material up. "Well, this is a golden opportunity for you to make friends." Ms. McAllister sneered, folding her arms. The light made her regulation bun hairstyle look like a heavenly doughnut.


"Hard pass." he said, taking a look outside. There were four people outside, the two younger ones looking as different as day and night. "Yeah, definitely not." he remarked, starting to button his shirt. "And why not? She looks rather pretty." his mom said, earning a sharp flash of grey in her direction. "Mom! NO! I mean, look at her." he gestured to the girl who looked a typical tiny, fit, and tan. "She's picking up a cigarette butt with a tissue. If that doesn't scream snob, you need hearing aids." Ms. McAllister chuckled, turning her back to her son. "She looks practical to me." she quipped with a sigh.


"Well, why don't you see about dating her...and I'll check out her brother." Jarrod shot back at her, closing the door to the bathroom behind him as he went to perform his morning rituals.

  Willow started off as more of a bully in high school. She hung around the popular kids a lot and was the most verbally adept in the whole group. Her studies were great too, she was the perfect mix of brains and beauty. As time progressed, Willow had kicked the Queen Bee off her throne and taken over, her tactic for bullying was always intimidation. And that was very easy considering she was 6'3, and her glare alone would make even the toughest of the tough wet themselves.
  
  
  Willow does have a more friendly and approachable side however, but it only shows when she's with her close friends. If you get to know her, you'll realize that she's the most humorous and protective friends you could ever have. Willow is also a tad bit vulgar in public and she will cuss you out if you cross her.   Willow dresses for comfort over fashion. It's not that she wears just anything from the flea market, but she has to make sure that the outfit is cute, comfortable and easy to move in. She does have lots of name brand outfits in her wardrobe, but most of them aren't dresses or skirts. Mostly jeans. t-shirts, jackets, flannels, clothing where she doesn't need to worry about flashing anything. Willow also likes to wear rings on her fingers for a bit of bling, occasionally she'll layer necklaces over each other if they match her outfit.   Personality: Erik is a very chipper guy, no matter the circumstance he'll keep a smile on his face and try to think of the good outcomes it would bring. A lot of people make fun of him for that, but he finds it charming, claiming that there's not enough happiness in the dull world of high school. That being said, he's incredibly optimistic and doesn't let a little bump bring his day down. He never let his bullies determine who he was, and that benefited him in the end. He came out of the depths of middle school hell and became confident in himself. He is far from a bystander as well, he never lets anybody get pushed around. Whether he knows them or not, Erik is willing to step in and stand up for the victim.
  
  
  But behind his heroic, happy go lucky attitude he does have his ups and downs. Erik is totally unsure about himself, always second guessing his choices and usually regretting what he does, whether it be good or bad. He tries to not let his worries get in the way, but when he has nothing to think about he usually wonders if life would be better if he didn't stand up for others, if he just continued to be quiet instead of breaking out of his shell and making friends. Erik won't ever admit it, but sometimes he feels like a mess on the inside. Even optimistics have their downfalls.
