Realistic or Modern Who wants a Western?

Tombstone

That Damned Cowboy
Alright guys and girls, The Magnificent Seven trailer has recently made a big splash recently. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you do as it will be one of the best movies this year. On the other hand, if you have seen it, you know first hand just how exciting and adventurous the Wild West can be. The prospects it has for an RP should be clear. So tell me, who wants to ride the western frontier.

You can call me Tombstone. In real life I am a championship gunfighter, I know the weapons of this time like almost no other. I've watched almost every single western of note, and read some of the best literature. Ive also studied the detail and lore of the west in detail. You can trust in me to create the best possible world for out characters to raise a ruckus in.

My main goal is to try and create a story in which almost everyone would like. Some people prefer the classic styles of the old movies. Others prefer a more intense story and atmosphere such as that in Red Dead Redemption. Whatever elements you wish to see in this story, I will work to incorporate.

I'll be frank, nobody on this sight has done a group Western RP in recent history. I want to change this. I know this is something different than what most are used to, but I guarantee it will be just as if not more enjoyable than any other RP out there.

Okay I love this idea but I'm a bit daunted. I'm far from an expert on the "wild west" so how much background knowledge are you looking for?

It won't take much to make this work. I can provide a fair bit of any necessary knowledge myself. But basically, if you've watched a few western movies than you should be fine. It will be a bit of an embellished (Hollywood) version to make it exciting and interesting.
