Personally, I love them. It brings a sense of the mythic in the world. Plus, I could never say no to a good bedtime story.

Honestly I find them a little annoying as breaking the flow of the story, characters, and humor, but they do add to the world at large which is a strong mark for them.

I love 'em now and then, maybe as an occasional bonus strip. They really help flesh out the characters in a way that would be difficult to do in the regular comic.

I think of them like Parson's Klogs from Erfworld. They provide needed backstory and information that would be difficult to put into a regular comic, due to the amount of text needed, and have their own kind of awesome, but they need to be used sparingly or you risk boring your audience.

Really, they are awesome. I love the epic feel of Exalted, and these stories tap into that in an amazing way that I'm wowed by everytime I read one Jukashi writes. Do keep up the good work.
