Story Whispertown

ObnoxiousExcalibur

Emotional Whackjob
Whispertown is not a normal place.

A fence surrounds every part of town.´
To keep someone out? Or to keep someone in no one knows. It is rule, however, that no one is to leave without clearance.

We can thank the Briarlight Witches for keeping the safety around the town.

You might be thinking, with such a fence, what may the culture be here?

It must be the same as yours, I would think.

Whispertown, depsite its secluded nature, is almost completely open the human world in case of imports. Human movies, fashion, food, from all parts of the world are spread.

There are people outside the fence that make sure entertainment and food are brought in.

So what makes Whispertown so special?

Well, for one thing, every person that inhabits it is a monster, a freak, a thing with magical abilities.

Of course, there are some that take the form of humans.

Felicity Myers is regarded in Whispertown as a strange girl. You might wonder, why? She looks “normal” enough. Is she not one of the monsters that takes a form of a human?

Well, none of the inhabitants have ever seen her not look like this.
They find her to be different, this girl who looks like a human.

So they question the part of her that seems to be not human.
Red circles on her cheeks, akin to a clowns circles, but a bit bigger.

Her hair is short and curly, her eyes dark green and tilted, like half-moons. Her smile, wide and mishevious.

This girl lights fires.

Thats another thing the inhabitants of this monster town find weird.
That this girl, a humanoid freak, lights fires at the drop of a hat.

Humans would call this “Pyromania”; “An obsessive desire to light fire to things.”

And it is what it is. She does not light them to hurt others, as some find happiness in that. She lights them to deal with troubles of her past, and troubles that occur to her now. She lights them because they fascinate her.

Fires are this girls best friend.
