Whichever Way The Wind Blows

Hunnyhelp

Angsty Teenager

For somebody special.

Caricon flew throughout the forest on his mount, quickly dodging the trees with impossible precision. "Dang Glads, they can't do anything themselves," muttered the Keeper of Earth as Heart (his mount) jumped out of the thick forest and into a golden field, quickly approaching a castle against the mountain, which was notably surrounded by a dark army and polluted with the fires of siege.

Caricon stopped halfway to the battle, his deer left standing majestically amongst the tall moving masses of grass. "Oh, it's worse than I expected," he said as the ground itself began to shake, and creatures of dirt and stone began rising from the ground. "Now let's go get 'em." The now massive army of wood, dirt, stone, and leaves began to move forward at the pace of a march. The dark army slowly noticed the massive counter-attack being performed and turned to face it, at the screams of it's commanders.

"Charge!" yelled the tall Elf as the army picked up the pace and Heart lowered her head, showing those deadly horns. Soon the armies collided with a terrible crash of metal, and Caricon was sailing through the air, landing in the midst of the orcish mass. He began to cut them into many little pieces, as they desperately tried to fight off the army coming in from behind, as a horn sounded from inside the fair castle, and out the elite fighters of the Glads came.

As a writer, I am the possibility to contiue with this battle sequence and see Caricon's final story.

I also have the right to say I don't care and talk about what happened a few thousand years ago. I obviously chose the latter.

It all started with Elves, and maybe some human influence.

It was the end of the Elven age, the 12 Kingdoms were still desperately trying to keep their power, none the less. Despite their forests wearing down and the new humans encroaching on their territory, the race was still proud and Carithiena soldiers still wandered the forest with bow in hand. Now the humans were in a much different position, they were in one of rising power, and their 6 tribes could now safely settle cities, despite the orc's best attempts. Ertinthia decided to not follow the path of civilization, and still ride his horsemen into battle against the supernatural.

The leader of this specific tribe "Gerus the Terrible" hated the Elves above all other races, he had lost many men trying to destroy the Wall of Bercinthia. Now he had also grown tired of his infertile wife and wanted a trophy from the elves. Finally one day he went into the elven territory and found his way into the Asteripa Forest, home of the most beautiful elves. They were deep inside Elven territory and never bothered to guard their borders. That day, the princess Agistinia was out enjoying her lone company next to the lake, thinking deeply about her choices of a husband. Gerus came down like a storm upon her, and she was soon found pregnant with a half-human baby.

This of course immediately caused all Elves to beef up their borders, and Asteripa (soon joined with all of the Elven kingdoms) declared war on all humans. The Asteripa king was infuriated with the savage attack on his daughter and gathered his entire army to destroy the Erithinthians. His army marched long into the night and soon made camp far outside the borders of Elven territory. It was during the night that the Altirudians crept upon them. The Altirudians were elite fights, and while their numbers were small, they still far outnumbered the small Altirudian force. The battle lasted for several days, and finally on the sunrise of the tenth day Altrtirudia seemed to be gaining against their foe, and were soon chasing them down the plain. Just when they were reaching the retreating force, a terrible war horn was heard and the war camels of Tenimenium descended upon them, the loses were so terrible that some say that the camel archers were able to kill every single Elf before the cavalry charge even reached their lines.

More tomorrow.
