And so, finally, this is the tabletop upon which we roll. Remember, to roll, you have to make a post, submit it, and then go back and edit it. The roll button should be at the bottom with save, preview and cancel. You can add dice of the same sort you rolled by clicking the "Roll additional dice" button ... or whatever it's called.

FIRST! I suppose that isn't really fair since I'm OP. Anyway, here's where we start play-testing. In the hopes of simplifying the action so that you're not waiting on me to make a call, our first attempt will go like this;

Human NPCs, for the purposes of contests, have two points in each stat. Since I don't want to worry about counter-rolling, we're just going to say that you have to score a number of successes equal to the appropriate stat of the NPC you're rolling against. All basic, untrained ability rolls will be made with stat+1, while ones you're proficient in will be at +3, or +5 for specializations.

Now, since there are two NPCs, it seems only right the task should be more difficult, so for each additional NPC the contest is against, the number of required successes increases by one. The difficulty of a base roll is five, so for MacKenzie to sneak past two human NPCs, she rolls Dex, +3 for a proficient ability, and needs three rolls of 5 or more to get through without being spotted. Fingers crossed.
