I've noticed that today the site's been getting new users and not-logged-in lurkers like nobody's buisness. Is it because WW's site is still down?

Actually, the activity is kind of nice.  Things are stirring themselves, and folks seem to be getting good use from the joint, and thus far, they ain't causing much of a ruckus.  Good on 'em.

achully with just the insane amount of content here ive been advising people to come here since i found it, its alot easyer then me trying to answer every last qustion about exalted they have (checking my books, double checking ect. ect.) so for new players, its a damn good resource and for old players at that.... now if all of the bleeding Unmoderated players on the ww servers would give into my ploryzing and give up WoD for exalted......

I'm especially surprised at the sudden posting flurry this month. Today is the site's 7 month mark, and it's gotten 200+ posts more than the monthly average, this past 30 days.


It's probably mostly due to the gay marriage thread

Have to say, it is nice to see loads of new faces (as well as some old ones), bringing with them some new topics and ideas.

I've been pleasantly surprised at how polite folks have been on the gay marriage thread.  It's a hot button issue, and folks have been very polite, and even on the "Problem Players" thread, folks have been pretty supportive, while still being critical, I hope that EM takes folks' advice and intent to heart.  


That right there is a marked difference from the old EC, and I think an improvement.  


It goes to show that you can have a lightly moderated forum, and still get adults, or those who can at least approximate their behavior, to post.


And if we're not careful, the Game Mechanics and ST Help forums are going to outstrip the Wyld soon enough.
