Aethereal is not quite the salt of this Earth. This mystical, magic spice is sure to bring flavour to all the plots in the pot! With it’s slow-cooked formula and easily digestible granules, it’s sure to pack a punch to your favourite literary feast. Fancy a fantasy fillet o’fish? What about a sci-fi soup de jour? Imagine what the power of salt can do!
Aethereal Salt ™ is not responsible for any fictional hallucinations, brain rotting fluff, dizziness, extreme cringe, bloating, horror-induced tremors, high blood pressure, verbal diarrhea, constant memeification, action hero syndrome, and heart-breaking angst. Consult your doctor before adding this to your meal plan.
It’s time to get salty my friends! With Aethereal Salt ™!
Hello new friends! My online user is Aethereal, but really you can call me anything. I’m looking for some new writing partners. Long-term preferred, but if you’re here for a good time and not a long time, it’s cool too.
I’m 19 and use She/Her pronouns. I don’t have a favourite genre because I find myself writing several of them throughout one RP. There’s just so many themes! But right now, I’m really craving more action-mystery with a healthy dash of slice-of-life, humour, and a little hint of romance - plot pending!
I’m a full-time student with a part-time job so my replies might be slow, but I do put effort in them. I usually challenge myself to write at least 500 words and more, but I don’t have a hard expectation on my partners to match that. Just gimme a new plot point and direction so I got something to work with and I’m a happy camper.
I’m super chill. I’m always down for ooc chats and sharing character headcanons, moodboards, playlists, memes, and all that fun stuff. Let’s fawn over each other fictional babies and watch them grow! That’s half the fun! The other half is of course getting to know you as a partner!
If you’re heavy into world-building, I don’t mind hashing out ideas. Making new worlds/characters and history/lore is a lot of hard-work, NGL, but it’s all worth it to see everything come to life!
I’m completely open-minded when it comes to relationship pairings and face claims (anime, realistic, written). I’d love to explore more LGBTQ+ characters and also enjoy relationships outside of romance - like platonic soulmates and close knit families. Heck, give me non-human characters like actual (non-anthropmorphic) animals, metallic rust buckets, streams of ephemeral AI consciousness, mythical beasts of legends - anything outside the box excites me!
I have some fandoms, but heavily prefer OC x OC pairings. I don’t mind playing against a canon character, if that’s your jam. But I love canon divergence! Let’s play things out from a different perspective, maybe an alternate time-line.
I think that’s it! Feel free to share your own plot ideas/pairings/RP interests so I can get to know you better. If you want a writing sample, I’d be happy to send one over PMs. You can comment below, but I usually reply to PMs much quicker! Thanks lovelies!

Plots:
- Muse A is an upcoming villain, but they are completely clueless. They want to be malicious, but really just end up causing some hysterical hijinks because of their sheer lack of intelligence. Muse B is a normal citizen who ends up being saved by Muse A by accident. Their life in-debted to Muse A, Muse B becomes the brains of the operations while saving the face of Muse A as a villain. Being a villain’s side kick was way better than their normal life anyways.
- Muse A and Muse B both lost someone important in their lives. To overcome this grief and loneliness, they both adopt a pet. In a random twist of fate, both Muse A and Muse B meet. But the thing is, their pet’s become the reincarnation of the person they lost. Muse A’s pet is the reincarnation of Muse B’s deceased loved one and vice versa. (I’d love to explore the secret life of pets while also exploring grief here.)
- After going through a worm-hole, Muse A (a time traveller from the past, doesn’t necessarily need to be human, but they can be) meets Muse B (an alien from the future) to prevent a cataclysmic catastrophe from wiping out the galaxy.
- Muse A and Muse B are just normal villagers who’s town is plagued by a unknown disease. The village elder said that only the wise hermit knows the supernatural cure. But to get to the hermit, both Muse A and B have to face trials that test their limits. Unfortunately, the village elder forgot to mention that only one of them will survive the journey. The other becomes a sacrifice to the cure. Will they work together, betray each other, or run away from it all? Loyalties are tested.
- Muse A is struggling artist who is forced out of their home and resorted to stealing to make ends meet. In a subsidized housing apartment, they meet Muse B. Muse B was currently just let out on parole for crimes that was committed by their sibling/parent. Trying to turn their life around, Muse B asks Muse A for help to find their family. But Muse B has a hard time accepting Muse A’s way of making a living.
