I was copying my search thread and putting it into my Private Workshop just in case I ever delete everything so I have a copy of it. And when I saved the thread in my private workshop, a little number one with a hashtag in front of it appeared at the top of the post. And when I clicked the hashtag and the number one, it took me to where my thread was posted in the looking for partners section. That is really cool. What is that called?

It's just this little thing that appeared at the top of my post. So it looks exactly like my post here does. Except the 1 is clickable and takes me to my search thread.

If you mean the post numbers as shown in my screenshot, they have always been there.


They unction as the post order and anchors. If I click on one, the browser give me in the url, the exact location of the post. If you share that url, it will take the person to the thread AND the exact list you want them to see.

Not understanding how it’s taking you to another thread though. That’s why I was asking for a screenshot. To see if a bew thing snuck in via an update.

Thanks for sending me the link, If you edit the post and look at bbcode mode, it’s just a URL. If you were copying and pasting, you could have accidentally copied elements out of the post, like the post anchor of the other post. The editor must have seen it as a link and preserved the formatting.

Oh. Haha, I don't know how to BBcode or anything like that, so I had no idea what happened. But thank you for explaining. Because that's a really easy way for me to track down certain posts or things like that. I don't even know how to copy a URL and make it appear as anything other than the URL, like a number one. SO I had no idea what I was doing.

Because that's a really easy way for me to track down certain posts or things like that. I don't even know how to copy a URL and make it appear as anything other than the URL, like a number one. SO I had no idea what I was doing.

If you happen to select the numbers over a post and copy, it will just insert it as a link formatted as the number. Glad you find it useful! Might do a new editor tutorial in the future. Not sure if we have any around currently.

We are all dumb when it comes to the editor lol. I know how how to introduce features to the editor like new bbcodes but I don’t really use them to make the amazing effects people do because I don’t have the holy patience required. I’ve been working on some updates that will insert more commonly used bbcodes as buttons into the editor like tabs for example.

We are all dumb when it comes to the editor lol.
