Other What is the secret of a happy life?

Is it bad that I can see someone happy from it only because they're better than others?

No since it follows your line of logic well.

The more money and power ( therefore they are more intelligent ) one is, the happier they are in comparison to the " others" .

Dude, bro, you're the one who said you needed money and power to be happy lol.
After all without money and/or power , its hard to enjoy life unless you are very lucky .
I've just been saying that if that were true then it needed a base, like intelligence.

I know that, I was replying Idea Idea since his argument / logic is slightly different from yours .

Eh, honestly I can't say I know right now. What I think it'll be for me is finally defeating my poor impulse control.

Doing what you want, when you want, how you want. And if anyone says anything about it throw them out of a window (Please don't actually throw someone out a window XD)

Find yourself a purpose in life, one that you feel is the most important and strive towards it every day you wake up. It can be improving yourself, getting money, getting power, making friends, getting a stable relationship, doesn't matter. As long as you have an aspiration for something, you won't be truly lost and instead will have something to fall back on every time.

That and stop giving a shit about what random people think about you. They won't affect you. Instead care for your family, friends and partners. Life gets easier.

I take something from every philosopher and philosophy I have read.
I think Marx was close with his idea that humans can live happiest when they are able to produce culture when working, instead of just working to live day to day.
I've also been absorbed in studying a sort of mixture between Naturalism and Buddhism as of late, and I really think that that just might be part of the key to living a happy life.

Money.

Hobbies, passion, love, purpose, and etc are all very important but if you're working 3 jobs and barely paying rent you're not going to have the time or energy for any of that. Not to mention needing money for food, shelter, and anything else necessary for basic happiness.

I'd rather work a job I'm not exactly passionate about and make a comfortable amount of money so I can afford my hobbies and paint on weekends rather than, say, become a full-time artist and struggle to get by.
