What is the secret of a happy life?

The title says it all...

I almost titled it as What is the secret to a long and happy life? But a part of my philosophy about it involves dying young to be very fun and exciting.

To me, a happy life is a combination of many things. The most important being that you need to find meaning and purpose to your life, whatever that may be, regardless of religion or culture.

Having a purpose gives you energy and vitality. And it also gives you strength, as the motivation you get from it "muscles up" your heart and mind into overdrive. It makes you productive and allows you to not waste your time focusing on petty bullshit that don't matter.

One thing I started implementing recently is to have a monthly goal. Every month of the year, I have one, undying goal to achieve. Nothing else matters but to achieve the goal. It works great for me so far, as I love the challenge of reaching goals.

Obviously, serving in the military.
HEAR THAT, KIDS!?
GET YOUR BUTTS TO THE NEAREST RECRUITMENT OFFICE AND STOP SLOUCHING!!!

Fresh memes and pristine coffee to keep me alive in the morning.

I think it's just doing what makes you happy! Following your dreams, ignoring the opinions of others, finding good friends, making memories. Camping under the stars, roasting smores with some drinks and sitting on a log. Adventuring through the woods, finding new places in cities, going places you're not allowed to go. But that's just me :ghostv:.

Super beefy gaming computer with a TITAN X graphics card, Google Fiber, tons of games, and quality gaming tools. And food. And oxygen. But forget the nonessentials like 'friends' and 'family'.

Ignoring everyone else's recommendations for what you should do next because you're right and they're wrong and stupid.

How dare they think you're wrong in any way :pout:

Being your own best friend. You will never be lonely. You always have someone to talk to, and you always enjoy yourself.
Otherwise, To hold the position of 'Fuck you' in society.

Happy life eh? All I can honestly say is to develop yourself how you want. Though don't be afraid to take GOOD advice from others. Don't allow yourself to be molded by others to the way they want you to be, become yourself. So in short all I have to say for this is to be patient, don't let others change your mind on what YOU want to do and just enjoy yourself for who you are. Just take a look at my signature, I've used that quote for a long time in my life. Focus on what is ahead of you and don't dwell on the past too much.

Get Paid, Get Laid, Gatorade.

Now really, I guess the concept of a happy life differs from person to person. For example: My parents view of a happy life is to get a small farm on the countryside where they can raise chickens and plant food. My idea of a happy life is to have my own business in a town, with a wife and the means to buy my hobbies. So to answer your question: Only you will know. No one but you will really know what's the secret to your life being happy.

1. Believe in something

2. Never fight over things you have the potential to gather yourself

3. Politics and poison start with the same letters for a reason. Don't be fooled: Left, Right, East, North, West or South, they're all idiots who got lucky.

4. Never let people define you, their words will talk you to death

5. If you ever meet the day that you don't feel you measure up, know that the fact that you have the breath to curse your existence has already proven otherwise.

6. Love with time rather than love. Love tends to drop in value the more it's used.

Awareness. knowledge. Those are the key words. I believe that, if we knew everything, we would be an utopic society. If we could comprehend everything, we would see it´s meanign and beyond the immediate limited awareness we now have, we would be able to sustain any misfortune with the awareness of the greater good.

Happiness = Two key words

Money and Power. Then you'll never have to worry about anything else.

a King with all the power in the world will still experience boredom. If you can experience boredom, then you are not truly fully happy.

It is better to live one day as a Lion, than 100 years as a Sheep .

Only one person is the king, there are many peasants .

Yet happiness is not a state of feeling superior, it´s not a matter of feeling happier than others, but an absolute state of bliss.

Which is why ignorance is bliss .

Money and/or power helps a ton for obtaining happiness. How many people you know are happy when they are in debt ? Or you're not able to " enjoy" freedoms that others can enjoy simply because there's a price tag ? Nor can you be happy if your powerless to change your situation. Knowledge does little, not unless your able to use it to exploit the system and earn a ton of power and/or money .
