Fantasy What If?

What if I told you that I could give you the winning lottery tickets for tomorrow? What if I told you I could tell you the winner of today's game? What if I told you that there is more then meets the eye? What if I told you that everything is not as it seems? What if I told you that you could end all wars? Or cause destruction? What if I told you that everything is not as it seems? What if I told you all those myths and legends were real? What if I told you that you have a chance to save the world? Or destroy is? What if?


You are just an average person in the world, trying to just survive in this world. But there is more then your eye sees, all those myths, all those legends, all those supernatural things that aren't suppose to exist? That's all real, and they are on the edge of breaking out into this dimension. Yes, you see, everyone shares the same world, just on different dimensions, split apart by space. But a dark ruler has found a way to break the barriers and is planning an invasion, the key; someone special. You can think of them as the key to the gateway, if they get there hands on him/her; its all over. They are able to send a few subjects but not a full scale invasion, but who says you can trust everyone? How about you? Will you help the world in defending it, or will you try and usher in the end of the world*You wake up...*

Time Stamp: 3:00 pm (Meaning school is just now over), Somewhat Cloudy at a cool 75 degrees


It was a cool spring day in the peaceful City of Noire, not much in terms of crime and violence really took place here; true there were still bullies and total dicks, but for the most part; every thing was alright. All day today had been somewhat cloudy, but sunshine still shining through in multitude of patches, it was not hot nor cold; it truly was, what one could call, a perfect day. And to add on top of it, the newly finished mall had its grand opening an hour ago, with all types of new food places and stores; truly perfect. Well, as perfect as perfect can be... And what of that strange dream you had last night, the voice repeating those What if questions? Was something major about to happen? Or was it really, just a dream?


In subway sat a blonde girl at 5'4, so she was pretty short compared to other people. She wore a colorful red and white ish jacket that went just below her waist and plain black pants, cuts all the way up and down them, and patches of dirt over everything. The most obvious feature of her though, was one of two things; A: being that she had bandages covering her eyes, and B: she had a sigh hanging from her neck by some rope, it reading Stay away from the blind homeless girl if you know what's good for you. It being obvious that she had no idea of it being around her neck. She sat there looking down at the ground as people passed her every now and again.

The boy sat there in an alley way curled up in a ball as he felt the warm sun beating down on him his ripped and dirty clothes giving him a little releif from the sun as he tryed to sleep 'where am I' he thought to him self as he started to wimper slightly "where am I" he said into his arms as he sat there hiding his face as he hugged his knees to his chest feeling a slight wind blow through the alley way as he did the small quiet wimpers from him just barely reaching the street as people walked by oblivios to the boy as he wimpered thinking over the dream he had

Briar woke up to the sound of birds outside her window, and sunlight streaming in onto her face. Yawning, she sat up and stretched a bit before looking at her clock. "..okay... You slept in way too long..." She muttered to herself. Well she didn't have class today and she had stayed up way to late working on her equipment. Plus she had had the strangest dream last night. Okay well maybe not the STRANGEST, but it was pretty odd. She just shook her head and stood up, walking to the kitechen to make herself a small breakfast and some coffee. She got her plate and cup, stepping out on her balcony to eat. It was a nice day out and she debated on going out today. She heard that a new mall opened this afternoon. Couldn't hurt to go explore it. Who knows, maybe there was a CD store or something. She got showered and dressed, putting on her jacket, before leaving her apartment. She flipped up her hood as she walked down the street, headphones on and playing music.

Taylor had finished school and was walking to the subway so that she could go to the mall.She did have some extra money to spend since she saved some of the leftover money for a few weeks.She stopped and looked in her messenger bag and pulled out her phone,no calls or texts from her parents yet but that wasn't surprising at all,they usually didn't call her until near the end of the day when she went to bed.She put her phone back from where she got it but when she had pulled out the phone,a folded sheet of paper fell out and she didn't notice it fall out.

Takao walked out of the front door of the technical college, taking a breath of the perfect air. "Ahh..today is a good day. Alright..few hours at work, then the new mall." He headed down the street heading for the game shop, when he passed by a subway. Inside was a girl sitting there..eyes covered with bandages and a sign.. "Stay way from blind, homeless girl..She couldn't have wrote that could she..?" Upon heading inside Takao looked around, no one was paying any attention to her. He walked over to her and got on one knee looking at the sign and rope. "You didn't do this to yourself did you..?"

Melody looked up from the ground when she heard someone get close to her, asking her if she did this to herself. What did he mean? Was he talking about her blindness or something else? "Wh-what do you mean? asked the small blind girl in a small and shy voice, utterly confused by what he meant. If Takao was talking about her blindness, then definitely no, she had been blind since birth.

Taylor noticed the paper she dropped and picked it up, it was the grocery list for this week and she really needed that for obvious reasons.She got on the subway and rode down to the next stop, which wasn't that far from the mall actually so she decided to walk the rest of the way there.She remembered that her car was at the subway when she had gotten on this morning,"gotta go get it later."

Drake fixed his computer bag over his shoulder as he walked down the street. He had just finished a job where he had to hack a security company to test out their security. It was alright, but he still managed to hack it with relative ease. He glanced at his watch and saw it was well past 3:00. 'Well I missed school today.... Oh well. I didn't feel like going anyway... Not after that weird dream.' He thought before he let out a little sigh.


He decided to take a short cut through an alley that would shave a good ten minutes off his walk to his apartment. As he walked down the alley he heard some whimpers deeper in it. 'Did someone get mugged?' He wondered as he placed his hands on a secret pocket where he kept a switchblade. He slowly walked down ready incase he was about to get jumped. Each step he took he got closer to the sound till he found the source.


"Hey kid are you alight?" He asked as he kneeled down in front of him to see if there were any visible wounds.

[The Cobalt Killer]

Eliza was shocked into consciousness when the school bell began to ring out for the end of the day. She felt her forehead. She was warm. This came as no surprise given the strange dream that she'd had. After collecting their things, her friends approached. "Hey, Lizzie," they chimed. "Care to walk home with us this evening?" Given her strange mental state, Eliza politely declined. Once she had collected all her books into her school bag, she stood up and left the room. She hurried down the stairs and out into the light where she could breathe fresh, cool air.


While she was wandering down the street, she began to wonder what the dream might have meant. The logical side of her was trying to make sense of it. It seemed so far-fetched that perhaps there was more to it. Could it have been a premonition? Eliza grunted. How had she even been induced into the dream state? She hadn't been tired at all, but for some reason she was thrown into a slumber in which she had that... Vision. It all seemed so weird. Maybe it was true or maybe she just needed to stay away from any kind of fiction. Feeling flustered, she sat down on a bench, visibly feverish.

The boy continued to wimper as he cried into his knees till he heard another voice then he looked up slightly then back down nodding into his knees even though his clothes told the boy that had found him other wise as he wimpered some tears sliding down his cheeks

Drake looked at the boy who couldn't have been older than seven maybe less cry on the streets. "I think you are lying kid. What's your name?" He asked looking around for any signs of a family member that was with the boy, but he couldn't find any. "Are you by yourself?"

The boy nodded slightly at his last question while trying to find his name in his memory's but drew a balnk as he wimpered still not looking up at the boy

Drake sighed as he stood up and thought about what to do. 'I can't just leave the this kid here... I don't know where a nearby orphanage is....should I call the cops?' He wondered but shook his head at that thought. 'No I don't know why, but I think calling the cops would complicate the situation.' He looked at the kid and fixed his beanie. "Can you talk? Also are you hungry?" He asked nicely as he once again crouched down so he wouldn't intimidate the small boy.

The boy slightly looked up at him and nodded "yeah" he said softly in a wimpered tone as he stared up at the man some tears leaking out of his eyes and down his cheeks as he stared at the man wondering why he came down here

Takao reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small knife. He wrapped an end of the rope around the knife and cut the sign from her neck. "If someone comes up to you and tries to do this again. Yell for help..I can see that you are blind..someone put a sign around your neck saying to stay away from the blind girl..stuff like that makes me sick.." Takao sighed and stood up slowly.

Drake smiled at the kid and held out his hand. "Then let's get you something to eat. Don't worry I promise I'm not trying to hurt you." He said softly trying to look as nonthreatening as possible.

Melody stiffened when she heard something began to be cut, and when Takao explained by what he meant, she loosened up a bit, she grew up where loud noises meant bad things were about to happen, so this was just natural. After he explained she nodded slightly, he seemed nice, so maybe she could trust talking to him? "Oh-Ok, they said it was a gift though..." replied the small girl, obviously devastated someone would lie to her.

The boy kinda cowered still bugs lowly reached up taking his hand hesitantly and standing up showing his dirty and ripped Clothes as he looked down in a deppresed and confused way as he instinctevly held onto the mans hand

Takao shook his head even though she couldn't see him. "Not a very nice gift that's for sure. Oh my where are my manners..my name is Takao. It's nice to meet you m'lady" The boy smiled brightly. "I think we should get you out of here..the people dont seem too nice.."

Drake smiled and held the boys hand before walking over to a nearby Mc. Donald's. "Go find a seat, I'll go get you something." He said once they entered the restaurant. 'Poor kid looks like he hasn't eaten in ages.' He thought as he waited in line. A few people were giving the child weird looks for how he was dressed and Drae heard some whisper rude things about the kid. He sighed and shook his head. 'Adults.'

The small blind girl nodded slightly before shyly standing up, revealing herself to be quite on the small side indeed. When Takao finally introduced himself, she replied with a faint timid smile, "Ma-my n-n-name is Melody" then just stood there, wondering where he would be taking her, not that it mattered as she could no see where it would be.

The boy sat down at a table looking down at his lap as he sat there his hands placed in his lap as well as he nervously looked around the place seeing some adults and kids that where watching him then cowering more in his seat

Drake got a few burgers, fires, and nuggets along with two sodas before going over to the table the boy was at. "I didn't know what you would want so I just got a bunch of stuff." He said as he started to eat some fries. "So you don't know your name?" He asked casually as he ate.

The boy looked down more before shaking his head a little his stomach growling at the smell of the food but he didn't reach for the food he just say there looking down as he heard wisperes from the other occupants of the store knowing they where talking about him
