Other What do you do to make your RP stand out from the crowd?

Other than a unique story, what features do you like to include to make sure that your rp feels more unique then the majority of others?

I don't give a crap about anyone else's. I 1x1 with the intent and purpose of having fun with a likeminded individual, and whether or not it compares to someone else's isn't at all important to me.

Also unimportant is it ever being seen or read by anyone other than my partner.

Although I don't try to stand out all the time, many times I use my humor to be the comic relief. It is usually pretty spontaneous. Sometimes I even try this outside of humor I just go along with the status quo and then add a rampaging bulldozer of spontaneity out of nowhere but make it fit in at the same time.

(Example off my head) Maybe my character is gathering sticks to make a fire out in the woods. He reminisces about how he has lived off the land while fighting against...em i dunno dark dragons who rule the earth or something. In the middle of his flashback he slips on a leaf and catches himself. Just as he admires his agile recovery he feels ants crawling up his pants. Panic stricken he runs back to the tent where his friends are having a convo. Next thing they know someone running/waddling in their underpants. His falling pants catch on fire and he leaps in a stream to subdue the situation. He must now hunt for sticks once more....shame....shame...shame.

I don't really typically try to stand out from the manner of the rest. I normally stick to 1x1 roleplaying instead of group roleplays unless this group roleplay includes controlling one character and that is it. Sometimes I usually make threads with these fancy signs or symbols to make it look welcoming but I never truly try to stand out more than anyone else though. It's just something I visualize most of the time when I start a roleplay.

I like to code my RP descriptions bust just enough to look neat, not so its busy or that people cant find the info they need. I also like to make my characters a bit different from the tropes and stereotypes we see often.
