  Boston, Massachusetts. Home of the Red Sox, cream pie, and a dinky little public television station called WGBH. Public broadcasting? Who watches that crap? Nobody really, especially with hundreds of cable channels and streaming services pumping out fantastic original programming these days. Sounding a slow death knell for public broadcasting as a whole, and WGBH was no exception.
  
  Enter sleazy showrunner Julian Arrington. After the cancelation if his long-running sitcom and a couple scandals coming to light, his career had taken a nosedive. So while is new position as network director for WGBH was far from an upgrade, all he had to do was turn this failure of a network around. If he single-handedly rescued the future of public broadcasting? The real networks would be throwing deals at him left and right for the made-for-TV movie rights.
  
  It was obvious what Julian had to do, as his predecessor's decision to focus on scripted shows for the young'ins wasn't enough. Cut a few depressing dramas about real issues that were essentually PSAs in disguise, reassign a few employees who just weren't pulling their weight in their respective programming, add a program or two to cater to the older demographic.
  
  Now, of course, everyone from actors to the lowliest college intern has to cope with the consuquences of Julian's creative vision. Some relocated, some new people they have to mesh with, plenty jobless. But of course that wasn't relevant to Julian. They'd thank him once he made public broadcasting the next big thing in America and lifted up their sorry little lives by proxy.

We're looking for active, experienced, mature writers to help make this television station come to life.
