Werewolf Romance

SweetCat2319

There's a certain beauty to broken people...
Damian Redwood was the Alpha of Redwood pack. They were located in central California in the mountains. His parents had died in a pack war and he had to take over at a young age. He was doing a great job given the fact that he was hot headed and had no Luna to balance his decisions. He was dying for his mate.

Angel Camp, CA was a very small town in the mountains. It was also in the middle of pack grounds. Many werewolves from the Redwood pack lived there and surrounding the area as well. A few humans lived in the area as well but the land around town was so open and spacious that there was No suspicion of werewolves.

Emily was a young girl of eighteen. She had recently moved to Central California, after finishing school so she could study on nature and animals. She lived with a roommate, called Jessica. Jessica was way different from Emily, was rather loud, funny though friendly. She was always convincing Emily to do something better in her life rather then studying nature, like doing modelling or dating, or raising a family. Emily always wanted to be in a relationship with someone, and have a family, yet she hadn't found the right person yet.

She headed out into the forests, soon, taking a few photos of some nature.

Damian was on a run. His black wolf was bigger then most. He stopped suddenly and smelt the air. His ears perked and he let a low growl escape him. Something smelt amazing and he couldn't put his paw on it. He followed the scent until he found a girl taking pictures in the forest. Mate, his wolf growled. But She's a human! I can't just take her. He argued against the urge to pounce on her right then and there though his wolf was insistent. He let out another low growl.

Emily looks over and notices a large black wolf. After much research on wolves, she noticed this was an alpha male. She steps aback, slightly afraid. She wasn't sure whether he would be the cuddly friendly type, or the growls and hot headed.

Damian saw her fear and instinctively lowered himself, whining slightly. He didn't want his mate to fear him. He looked up at her with worried blue eyes and whined again, hoping she would recognize his submission.

Emily slowly wanders over to him, curling up beside him. She pets his head gently and smiles. "Hi boy!" She says softly and giggles, rubbing his fur.

His ear twitched at being called "boy" but he didn't dare growl again. He smiled a wolfish grin at her giggle and licked her hand.

Emily soon stood up and pets his head, going back to take photos, she took one of the wolf and then wanders deeper into the forest.

Knowing that the forest might be a dangerous place for her and his instincts making it so that he doesn't want her alone, Damian shifts back as fast as possible and puts on some clothes that are tied to a tree branch. They are simple jeans and a T shirt. He ties the female clothes back up then follows Emily.

Emily began to take a few pictures and then steps back, looking around. She bumps into someone and then fell backwards, tumbling into them. She notices a young man and gasps lightly. "Oh! I'm sorry!" She says.

He caught her in his arms as they fell back. He landed on his back, shielding her from the impact and let put a soft umph sound as he landed. He then chuckled and sat up with her still in his arm, "It's fine. I'll live." He smirked.

Emily moves her arms away and shrugs, she began to wander back to where she lived, being careful of the twigs and such.

Damian felt himself irked at her casual brush off. She was his mate after all. Doesn't she feel the connection? He pondered. Humans have a harder time feeling it then others. We need to show her! His wolf growled. He rolled his eyes and ignored his wolf. He could tell she was headed to Angel's Camp. Probably on the edge. He could find her easily in such a small town.

Emily began to head home. After a few moments, she set outside and began to water some plants, smiling softly, she then sat down and began to draw a picture of the wolf she had just seen.

A few minutes passed and a car pulled up next door. Next door lived a nice elderly lady who often baked too much and gave out the goods. Damian got out with a girl. She was complaining to him and he was just about to reply when he stiffened and looked over at Emily with wide eyes. He was dressed differently now. He had on dark blue button up and some black slacks. His hair gelled into an actual style And he had obviously cleaned up.

Emily soon finished up with her rough sketch of the wolf, then stretches lightly, as she looks around. She noticed someone looking at her, the young man seemed familiar to the guy from before. She smiles at him weakly, and turns away with a blush.

  • He smiles and chuckles. The girl with him raises an eyebrows but says nothing as he leads her to the door. He glances back over at Emily when the old woman answers his knock. "Damian! Gretel! How nice to see you!" She gives them a hug and Damian replies, "You too Grandma. I think I'm going to enjoy the fresh air while you torture Gretel." He chuckles and leans against the wall as the two woman enter the house, Gretel giving him a glare.

Emily continues to blush. He was rather handsome. She had no idea that he lived nearby. So far, she hadn't met many people whilst she lived with Jessica. She was a shy girl, and didn't often talk to others.

He glanced over at her and offered a small smile. "You're cute when you blush." He chuckled And stood up to approach her.

She couldn't help but blush at that, she giggles and then hid her face slightly. "Thanks" She says quietly.

He smirked and felt happy he could make her giggle. "No need to hide such a lovely face. It's a shame if you do." He was standing pretty close to her now. He was so lucky to have such an amazing mate.

She smirks gently at him and then stood up so she was at his height, more a less. She smiles softly and then looks down, feeling pretty awkward but happy.

She looks back up at him. "Oh, it's Emily" She says and shook his hand lightly, she watches as Jessica came outside, to see what was going on. She had always been a protective and loyal friend, and instantly thought that this dude was obviously trying to kidnap or steal something.

Jessica wanders up to the man and shoves him hard. "And who the fuck are you?" She demands.

Startled and even amused, Damian barely takes a step back. "Damian Redwood. I own one of the biggest ranches out here. I just came to force my sister to visit our grandmother. But I couldn't ignore the flowers here." Though he gestured towards the flowers, he glanced at Emily.
