Hi there RP land. I'm Ez, and I've been RPing for a great many years now. Forum based, some tabletop, and some in games (like WoW and GW2). I've been missing it greatly lately and sought out somewhere I could get my feet back into it all.

When talking about myself I'm pretty quiet, but when I talk about my characters it just pours out of me, so this is short and sweet!

Welcome to RPN!! I am the Mechanist! The hero of the commonwealth and of RPN!! There are Tons of RP's to join, and even more people to RP with, myself included ^D^ We've got all kinds ranging from modern to medieval to futuristic. I myself am prone to fantasy, medieval or futuristic rp's, and I am a sucker for romance and a good love story. Trust me when I say we almost have it all!! Feel free to help yourself to the cookies and punch at the table.

Hello there, Ez :3 Hope you enjoy this site. I've just joined but so far I've felt very welcome. I'm also a long-time roleplayer. Are there any specific genres or characteristics that you particularly enjoy in roleplay?
 
KyroMontresor KyroMontresor Hmm, not that I can think of at the moment. Working on getting myself back into the flow of things. Genres I know I tend toward fantasy. Well, let's be honest, anything aside from realistic worlds. I like a bit of uncommon and unusual.

I'm exactly the same! I tend to shy away from more realistic or basic plots. However, even though my plots and settings tend to be unrealistic, I tend to enjoy roleplaying as characters that ACT realistically.
 
KyroMontresor KyroMontresor Well of course! I love having real emotions, real reactions. Good, bad, fun, ugly, scary. All of it! I love taking the fantastical and making them real.
 
I absolutely agree! Even in the case when my characters aren't particularly realistic (Either in origin or in race, as in a demihuman such as an Elf), I always try to make sure my characters have appropriate personalities and respond accordingly.
 
Weeeelllllll XD A lot of people don't like how I make characters. While I do plan out each character, I actually make fresh characters for each individual roleplay and because of this, I don't make character sheets and convey my character entirely through the roleplay. Honestly though, I'd have hundreds of character sheets if I made one for each character.
 
KyroMontresor KyroMontresor I totally get you! If I make sheets, they're as basic as I can make them (within rules of said RP) so that I can grow them through the RP. I usually only start out with a basic idea and just go with whatever comes. Then I do start filling in my sheets as I go, so I can always look back if needed. I keep all of them in google drive so I can get them anytime :D
 
Well I only recently got a laptop (As in yesterday) so I had been roleplaying on various devices up to this point: phones, tablets, and, as embarrassing as it is to say, even the Wii console. So keeping up with character sheets would be a nightmare. Perhaps now I'll get into it.
 
KyroMontresor KyroMontresor I think that's why I enjoy it so. You can access google drive from anything really, so if I have a moment of "Oh, I could add that in!" I can pop in and do it before I forget.
 
Well, do check out the character feedback section then, where you are free to dump all that sweet character chat on your own thread (once you hit 10 posts).

So, I here on RPN land welcome thee to our fine website. Do enjoy yourself as a you partake in our shared hobby and other activities here, and if thy ever requires assistance, just come see me ;)

As far as group RPs go, I am actually a Co-GM of one and we are accepting applications for roles! In the interest check, you'll see that it is a Discord RP, however that has changed.
