Bean grew up in a trailer in Crestfield with little to her name but her dad. Her dad, a reputable pitbull breeder and advocate, taught Bean everything she knows. He taught her starting from a young age the beauty of pitbulls. In some ways she's just like them, a happy go lucky girl. In others she can be more like a chihuahua: a feisty monster hell-bent on the destruction of all good things. Despite her obvious nature pertaining to aggressive tendencies and snap judgements, Bean was loved by her dad. Her mother grew sick though at a young age and though still alive, her health continues to decline. It's made Bean a bit of a tough nut to crack because she needs to keep her heart safe for when the inevitable comes.​

backstory

Elle grew up as a single child who was adopted by two loving gay dads. Her dads treated her like she were the stars that graced the Earth and would give her anything she could have dreamed. The family of three grew up in Westview, courtesy to one of her dads, who had found the town from a very exclusive job offer. Elle couldn't remember living anywhere else, although her dads like to tell her stories from when they lived in the hot land of Arizona. Growing up fairly well off and with reminders from her dads, she tried not to take what she had for granted, but all that would come to a halting stop when she entered High School. Wanting to fit in or grab the attention of a certain person, she decided to run in with a bad crowd of kids who skipped classes, started arguments, and participated in some... illegal activities. She went from a sudden change to being a huge book nerd who couldn't help but stop at the bookstore on her way home, to a girl who blew off her dads and came home way too late. She and her friends would often be lighting fires for fun, shoplifting, smoking bad substances, and whatever else that would cause havoc. Her dads immediately noticed the change in her and tried to crack through to her, thinking it had to do something with being adopted. When her dads asked her why she joined the group, later on, she confessed she did have a crush on one of the kids in the group and figured it would be like all those young adult romance novels. Eventually, the law caught up with Elle and her friends and they ended up being arrested. While in jail, she overheard cops talking about a murder case that occurred a few cities over, which piqued her interest. After her dads picked her up and she was grounded for a few months, Elle decided to focus on a new interest: forensic science. This interest led to her pulling up her grades and receiving a scholarship for biochemistry in a university in their hometown. The arrest also brought to light just how serious the consequences for the things she was doing could be. She now had an interest in dead bodies and autopsies as it was like figuring out a crime without having to risk her own self. Once she graduates from uni, she plans to become a forensic autopsy technician in Westview.

Personality: Rudy's an idealist, often giving more stock to dreams and extremes than the realities of her everyday life. She acts without thinking, goes days at a time ignoring responsibilities that she'd rather didn't exist, and more or less lets life simply wash over her. While she's largely content to coast on the efforts of other people, her music is the one area of her life that she commits to vehemently.

Backstory: Most kids growing up just have plain shoes to fill. For Rudy, they were biker boots. Her mother, Penny Romano, was once a nationally-famed musician, especially favored during the second wave of feminism. But while she was off touring the country and enjoying the adoration of her fans, her daughter stayed at home, only getting secondhand news of her mother's exploits. The Romanos' resulting wealth ensured that Rudy grew up comfortably in Westview, and despite her mom never being around, cemented Rudy's admiration of the life of action and freedom Penny represented. Like all stars do, though, Penny Romano eventually fell from grace.

Drugs, scandal, and the coke-fueled murder of a roadie landed Rudy's mother in the clink when she was only 14, and on the other side of the country, at that. If not for her best friend Magnolia, who Rudy met freshman year of high school, Rudy might not have learned to embrace the gifts her mother gave her, nor gained the ambition to replenish the Romano name. She's now the lead member of her own band, S!REN.

  history: fable was born into a wealthy and dysfunctional family. she was the second and daughter child of her mother, cara. her mother and legal father were second generation vietnamese-americans who grew up in westview and have an established, family-run orthodonics clinic in town. her parents' marriage was more out of convenience than love, so they were prone to disagreements and lacked in the parenting department. growing up, her household did not only harbor her immediate family, but also her thought-to-be aunt-in-law and uncle binh. out of her siblings, fable was probably the most sound one but was deemed "moody" by her family. her siblings were absolutely spoiled heathens. in other words, they were not exactly pleasant to live with.
  at the age of fifteen, fable's already chaotic life became even more chaotic when the truth came out: the person she thought was her uncle was her father, and the person she thought was her father was actually her uncle. apparently, her mother and "uncle" had once had an affair while her father was traveling outside of the country many years ago, and, well, their affair resulted in fable's existence. despite all of this, her family made the collective decision to sweep this secret under the rug. this did not save fable from facing resentment from her legal father/biological uncle, vien, and her biological father's wife, chau, and the tension in the household never quite went away. it really is like one of those reality shows on tlc, now isn't it?
  at age eighteen, fable made the executive decision to move out of her family home and into a small, studio apartment. she is currently obtaining a bachelor’s degree in human physiology and started up a small photography business not long after moving from her childhood home.

  Soho is an elegant, chill, and playful man whose known for his kindness if not his flowers. He's a nice guy, without the syndrome, not expecting anything in return for choosing to be good-natured. He's capable of professionalism just as much as fooling around, and engages in friendly fluff & flirting, especially with those that play along or return it. Sheepih in some things, shameless in others, but mostly shameless. He's well meaning and positive, but he tends to be fixed on what's in front of him, those not around him are kept out of mind and consequently he appears insensitive. It's not purposeful, but if it's not flowers or dance related, his brain has filed it as nonessential. Even so he gets genuinely interested in others and will be one of a handful f West Viewers who open their arms in reception of the relocating Crest Fielders.
  
  There are few things that visibly upset Soho, but those things are his lack of dance career and if harm should come to his friends. He can tolerate and grapple with being sleight or hurt himself. Soho's not an aggressive man, never seen to throw a punch, he just doesn't fight. He'd prefer to de-escalate an situation, even to cheer up his friend rather than ball into a spar with the antagonist, but it could be different if his friends were physically hurt. As much as he aims to carry himself on as a pacifist, he's not immune to petty plots. When he does craft and execute these plans, it's usually a mission flown solo as he's adamant about not getting others involved in his personal affairs, by the time any would hear about it if at all, he would have already done the sin and washed his hands without telling a soul.   Habits (mannerisms), runs his hands through his hair, smacks and chews his lips, (in comfortable settings) sitting cross legged or in a chair leaned off the ground with his legs used to keep him from falling back, fallin asleep while doing something, hanging on close friends, writing small notes or drawing doodles where you'll find/see them
  
  As the owner of a flower shop, he prunes and takes care of a vast ariety of flora, from what's in his green house and garden upstairs, to the displays in his store, and the hidden work in his cellar.

  Soho grew up with his parents in West View, having a relatively structured and happy childhood. Some time during middle school, his father grew out of the picture. There were a few ideas, but the connection seemed to slowly dissolve to hardly ever speaking to him. He's a memoy and no longer and active relationship. His mother on the other hand has remained supportive and of his dreams and by his side until her death. A collage of memories shared together hangs in his room.
  
  Soho was majoring in dance and minoring in business, he was going to an arts and dance focused college, several times he auditioned for reputable programs and groups, but he was always discarded for “what they were looking for.” Besides being talented at dancing, he hasn’t gotten any further in his dancing “career.” It remains a passionate hobby, but also a sore spot.
  
  Soho has gone through a few relationships, the last one being a man he was sure he'd marry but had ended up playing with him until finally parting ways because Soho was too nice, but really the other was now bored.
