ooc: Hi, so I'm Mordo and it's been quite a bit since I've been here last. But I'm back for the time being because I got the itch to role-play again. Missed doing that, but got super busy all at once, so been away from not just this site bit all rping sites for a bit. Also wanted to wish everybody reading this a Merry early Christmas and a Happy New Year.


Now then onto the role-play. Now this rp was an idea that I've had for at least the past few months and I've been wanting to give my idea a try ever since. So here's the basic summary of my rp idea: your character for whatever reason gets sent to purgatory; which for those who don't know is basically the in between heaven and Earth. Souls usually get sent there when they are difficult to place. But yeah, so basically your character gets sent there and they have to try to escape. This rp can either be a 1X1 or a group. I'm honestly not sure which one suits my idea the best.


This roleplay will be of the supernatural variety! It will basically have your characters being trapped in purgatory and therefore at the mercy of one of my characters, Malakai, an angel in charge of maintaining order in purgatory. Malakai is a stubborn, hot headed angel who is obsessed with power and control. He rules over purgatory with the help of his VR tech and his illusions. Malakai believing himself to be in the right will do everything he can to keep your characters trapped in purgatory even if it means messing with their minds. Will your characters be clever enough to realize that the world they think they are in is not real and only a cruel illusion conjured up by their captor or will they fall for Malakai’s illusions and be forever trapped in Malakai’s dreamworld created by his VR tech and illusions?

It can be a creature, a demon or heck even another angel. I, myself might being in another character who is one of Malakai's victims. I'll post Malakai's intro as soon as I get a bite.

Quick Character Bio:



Name: Malakai


Species: Angel (on the cusp of falling)


Occupation: Purgatory’s master


Powers: Flight, speed, strength, can create powerful, realistic illusions, telekinesis, telepathy, can create psionic blasts, and can smite demons.

Skills/Abilities: A master at VR tech; which he uses to keep troublemaking souls in line.


Strengths: Above average intelligence (not quite genius level, but still more intelligent than the average person). As an angel he has all of the physical abilities of angels as well as some mental abilities unique to him.


Weaknesses: Powerful as he is Malakai cannot read the room to save his life. As such he isn’t the best at social interactions nor can he read people. This is not only caused by his lack of empathy towards others, but because the only other people he interacts with on a daily basis are the poor lost human souls that get sent to him until he can figure out which way they are meant to go: heaven or hell. He tends to consider himself a very fair and righteous judge who is very good at placing lost human souls. He is also a bit naive and oblivious to the fact that he is on the dark path of becoming a fallen angel and to the fact that he is being used by the other angels since they are aware that those in charge of purgatory tend to fall therefore no other angel wanted the job. Another weakness of his is he tends to get easily distracted by technology. Additionally, he is arrogant, overconfident, hotheaded, extremely self righteous, obsesses over any one thing easily, and believes himself to be in the right all the time even when it's obvious he isn't.


Physical Description: Malakai has bright blue eyes which glow whenever he uses his powers. At six foot even he is considered to be of average height and he has short brown hair. Despite being fairly corrupt for an angel Malakai wears all white clothing. However, he doesn't wear your typical angel robes because he wants the freedom of movement and he claims that long robes get in the way of that.
