Cass looked at her with a sad expression. "No I'm not." He turned and walked off down the street just to glimpse a drunk and a woman leave a home and into a black mustang. Cass saw something red on the mans knuckles and the womans boots. He instantly memorized the number plate of the car and sat down, covering his face.

"you are too!" but then she stopped. "what the hell??" she said, she could exactly see what was going on, she thought she had seen something like blood but she wasn't sure.

"Did you fucking see that!" Cass exclaimed. "Fuck!" He got up and headed to the house where they emerged from. "I fucking hope no one's dead!" Cass said as he approached the house.

Emily couldn't even say anything.. she just followed closely behind him, scared of what she would see in that house, she grabbed his shit and hid behind him

Cass opened the door and looked inside the house. He gasped in terror.

"oh my God!" Emily gasped and hid her eyes behind his back again. It was horrible, gruesome, blood every where, she couldn't believe it. There was a child, along with a man, she turned around crying, she couldn't see it anymore, she walked down the driveway

"Em, stay there." Cass entered and went up to the boy and girl who he recognized to be Nick and Adrian. "Holy shit what the fuck!" He hugged Nick, "glad to see you're alright." He then turned to Adrian. 'What the fuck!!" He said again and looked at Adrian. "What happened? Someone please explain."

She sat out at the drive way, she couldn't bear to see them, whoever it was like that. She looked out at the sky and tried to pretend like it wasn't even happening. "no, no, no" she kept saying to herself, shaking her head.

"We-we were pranking and her parents came," Nick gulped and looked at Adrian, "and they beat her up."

Adrian was too tired to reply and merely nodded her head mumbling a thanks.

"I guess no more pranks." He frowned laughing. "Should I call the police about what happened to you?"

Upon hearing the word "police" she rapidly shook her head "T-There's no need for that! I'm perfectly fine, see?" Adrian tried to stand up and ended up falling. "Or not.. But please don't. My brother is in a coma at the hospital and they're the only people who's willing to pay for his medical bills even though they're... Like that" she explained

"I will." He held out his wallet, full of cashed money. "My parents gave me half a million dollars on their will." Nick smiled

Nick helped Adrian to her feet and said, "and your parents aren't getting away with this horrible bullshit."

She shook her head and frowned "I don't take charity, plus you're already helping me by letting me stay at your place. I'll figure something out on my own." Adrian left the house not waiting for a reply from Nick

He sighed, but laughed and laid down in his house, "That woman ceases to surprise me, and yet I like her." Nick laughed and grabbed his computer.

She walked back to the park and watched as kids played with a soccer ball. Adrian had a warm feeling when she's with Nick but she couldn't put her hands on what it was. Pushing it aside, she felt for her phone and started back up on reading, being ignorant of her surroundings yet again

Nick travelled to the park with his laptop in his arms and phone in pocket. He was listening to music once again. "Maybe she can help me forget their death." Nick smiled sitting on a bench, not noticing her. He continued his coding on a game he put much work into.

It was getting dark yet she stayed at the park. Turning around, Adrian noticed Nick was sitting on the bench. She hopped off the tree branch and stalked up behind him curious as to what he was doing. There were letters and codes..?

He was making a game about survival and was editing relationships with NPC love, finishing the coding and testing the game out. It worked perfectly and he laughed, clapping his hands and closing his PC. He got up and turned around, noticing Adrian, making him fall and almost breaking his computer, full of gaming data. "Agh!!" His eyes widened, scared.
