When you've been best friends with someone since practically birth, it hurts to be apart. It'sboring to do things without them. It's awful and painful to think of what life would be like without them.

When you're best friend in the world moves, it hurts. It feels like your world's been flipped upside down and squished and torn all at once. It's awful.

So how can you welcome them home, when they finally come back?

Anthony finally moved back after years in a different state. "Oh god that was a long drive." He said to himself as he gave a stretch next to the moving van.

Yawning, Lissa walked into the kitchen, planning on grabbing an apple or something before heading out. She knew she had school, but she was a bit early, so going to the park for a bit wouldn't be to bad.

Anthony started unpacking and moving stuff since his father was crippled. Their new home was on the edge of the park.

Sighing Lissa left her house, calling out a bye to her parents, her bag hanging off her shoulder. Shutting the door behind her, she started towards the park, knowing exactly where she wanted to go. There was a small clearing deep within the trees that her and her old childhood friend Anthony liked to hang out at. Having not been there in a while, the red head found she missed the place.

Anthony finished unpacking the truck rather quickly which was awsome. He watched his dad pull out and leave. Anthony then started for his old spot in the park.

Sighing Lissa let her bag drop to the ground and soon followed, sitting cross legged. Looking around at the trees, she smiled. She wasn't sure why she hadn't come in a while, but she was glad to be back.

Anthony gave a sigh as he saw some girl sitting in his usual spot. "Get there!"

Hearing a shout, Lissa jumped, her head snapping towards the direction of the shout. "What the...?" she muttered, standing up. "Who's there?" she called out.

"Hey Lissa." Anthony said stepping out from bring a tree. He could smell her before he even got close.

Lissa's eyes widened at the person in front of her. "A-Anthony...?!" she stuttered slightly. She hadn't seen Anthony in a few years!

Anthony gave a laugh before sitting next to Lissa. "What a guy can't come home?"

Lissa grinned, laughing. "No, it's just...It's been so long!" she said, before hurrying over and giving him a hug.

Anthony laughed too and hugged her back but not for long he was a little skittish now. "Nice to see you too." Anthony said as he heard a honk from the direction of his house. "I gotta go unpack but i'll see you here after school ok?"

Hearing the honk as well, Lissa nodded. "Yeah sure!" she grinned before going back to grab her bag. "See you later Anthony!" she called before hurrying off. If she didn't leave soon she'd be late.

Anthony gave a smile before leaving since he had a lot of unpacking to do.

Yawning, Lissa walked out of the school doors, hitching her bag higher up on her shoulder. While there were some things that interested her, she thought school was mostly boring. Though, thinking of where she was going, brought a smile to her face as she hurried to get back to the park.

Hurrying her pace, Lissa smiled as she spotted the clearing in front of her. As she entered, she quickly spotted Anthony by the tree. "Hey!" she called out in greeting.

Anthony waved back but had his other hand behind his back. "Right on time for once huh?"

Rolling her eyes, Lissa stuck out her tongue playfully. "Rude," she commented with a grin as she stopped in front of him. "What's up?" she asked, noticing his one hand, hidden behind his back.

Anthony took a step back with a grin on his face. "Oh whatever do you mean?" He said his empty hand scratching his chin. Something rustled in hits other hand when he moved.

Smiling bemusedly, Lissa watched him before hearing the rustling. "Oh yeah? What're you hiding behind your back?" she asked.

"Come and find out." Anthony said with a smile and a suggesting wink. He started walking towards her and kept his hand behind his back.

Raising a brow, her curiosity piqued, Lissa followed his example before trying to peak behind his back. "Why can't you just tell me?" she asked, twisting slightly to try and see what he was holding.
