You are on a quest to stop not only a force, but a person or group behind it with a motive to kill what is keeping the earth alive.
This is a steampunk roleplay, meaning that there are a few charcters that are almost necessary to the theme.

--Brawler/Thug
As well as crazy add-ons like flaws and vices.
Flaw: Usually a mental disability, but also physical. (Kleptomania, Pathological Liar, Schitzophrenia, High-Functioning Sociopath but please no habitual killers who may kill our whole group for fun)
Vices: One of the seven deadly sins; Sloth, Greed, Gluttony, Wrath, Pride, Envy, Lust.
NOTE: Just because I said they were ALMOST essential, you do NOT have to be anything given above, but sometimes I find people have a hard time creating a steampunk character because it's not an everyday lifestyle people live through.

Captain Ezra/Rosalyn Sturgesson

DID, or, Disassociative Identity Disorder. This is where under stressful situations like abuse a person's mind breaks into two personalities; one of them is a dominant, new person to protect the weaker person. Ezra is the original, but in serious and life-threatening situations it is possible for the very violent, wrathful Rosalyn comes out and makes the hard decisions, often opting to kill everyone who is a threat.
Ezra was born into a military household, and for most of her childhood she was abused in the worst way by her uncle, the Fleet Commander Jakob Riley. After years of hiding this secret, holding onto it, this burden broke through at age ten. Rosalyn had been created in the fraction of a second when the rage turned violent and Rosalyn fended off her uncle for the first and last time. For the next few years as a student, Ezra excelled in sword fighting, ranged weapons, and battle strategy at the military academy she had been attending, a better and more confident person since the unconscious creation of Rosalyn had also taught Ezra to focus all of her emotion into willpower, devotion, and prescision work. For this, she is a proud, sometimes arrogant person with little or low need for emotions unless truely enjoying herself with mates. After graduation at eighteen until her early retirement from the Fleet at twenty seven, Ezra was a pilot of the Zeppelin Air Force and was commended for her ability to pull a win out of a hat in all of her eleven battles in various wars. For this, as a retirement gift, she was given her own airship for personal use named the Atrox, or Fierce.
Ezra, for the most part, loves the feel of flight. She loves the thrill of it. Ezra could never forget that, so when the word came through that they needed a skilled captain to go on a hunt, she was more than willing to sign up. Also, it was to add to the golden track record of the proud Ezra, once General Ezra Sturgesson whom everyone saluted. In short, money, nostalgia, and the glory of it all.
