  HELLO!
  
  I’m Gumoo, 21 going on 101, a casual role-player looking for long-term partners. Alongside fantasy and sci-fi genres, my general interests lie on the more action-oriented, mystery, slice of life/drama/realism, slow-burn romance, and supernatural side of things.
  
  I’m ooc friendly and communicative, although, I’d like to be upfront that I’m unlikely to respond everyday as school and work schedules are variable and always changing. Likewise, if you need time off for any reason, I’m patient and understand that overall well-being and offline responsibilities come first.
  
  I’m all in for collaboration and easy-going in and outside of RP. In exchange for your time and possible partnership, I offer goal oriented plotting, vast world building, and sharing of rp inside jokes and head canons. It’s an awesome way to build rapport while getting to know you and your characters!

  ✦ Secret rooms and what’s hidden in plain sight
  
  ⟢ While cleaning the attic of your new house, a blueprint indicates some secret rooms that you’ve never seen before. The note indicates some sort of treasure room, but what you find is a bigger conspiracy than you could imagine. A sac of gold coins were just the beginning. Perhaps, the previous owner was a member of a secret society and their house was their base of operations. Perhaps, the owners never left at all… (Think something along the lines of Parasite - the movie)​
  
  ✦ Murder mysteries with a side of buddy cop adventures
  
  ⟢ Investigations involving murdered socialites and members of the upper echelons. At first, it might appear to be a string of simple robberies, but something significant connects the victims. We can decide what this is together whether it’s similar profiles or something as random as hair colour. But basically, I’d love to see a freelance private investigator/investigative journalist go toe to toe or work together with an actual law enforcement detective. Time periods and settings are open to interpretation.​
  
  ✦ Clones, androids, AIs, and futuristic bioengineering
  
  ⟢ Clones and replicants are on the cusp of being introduced to the government military for endless deployment. One (or two) morally conscious scientist(s) and/or engineer(s) fears for the worse and decides to sabotage the whole operations. This academic seeks help from a criminal organization as they become public enemy one and are broadcasted as a traitor. However, their protection comes at the price of their research. But is handing that sensitive information to this syndicate any better than handing it over to the government? I’m open to any character roles in this scenario - whether they’re both from the same side, or one is a body guard tasked to protect the scientist, or even a government agent vs the criminal body guard in a race to see who can get to the scientist first.​
  
  ✦ Hidden life of fantasy and mythical creatures in modern day (urban fantasy)
  
  ⟢ There have always been unbelievable stories about humans with super-human feats. Natural athletes, top-tier genetics, and most commonly, results of hard work and dedication are usually what’s attributed to these successes. Yet the best kept secret was that, perhaps, those “humans” were a little more supernatural and a little less human. A little more unfairly advantaged and a little less inspirational. Welcome to the world of magical creatures disguised as humans. In order to keep their bloodlines going and prevent massive witch hunts, they had to assimilate to the ways of the humans. But lately, their magic seems to diminish at a faster rate than normal. Their source/origin tree that bears the fruit they need to create their disguise is withering. To top things off, a previously deceased, infamous monster hunter has re-awakened to wreak havoc in their world. What could be causing the seals on both fronts to weaken? Our characters journey together to find out. ​
  
  ✦ Failed super heroes who turn sides and create a criminal network
  
  ⟢ The media would have you believe that most superheroes inherently want to do good in the world. Saving people from burning buildings, taking your frightened cat down from a tree, helping elders navigate the crossroads - all of these were the type of behaviours the public could expect from them. But what the media seems to forget about was that not everyone with powers was destined to be heroes. Sometimes, these super powered individuals fall by the wayside. Sometimes, they can’t escape the rough neighborhood that they’ve grown accustomed to. Sometimes, they mess things up so badly that they might as well resign to the other side. Enter “Swivel Eye” the most notorious villain they’ve kept on lockdown since his arrest. It turns out a few positions in his circle have opened up due to some “minor” misunderstandings. Some recruiters have scouted you as one of their replacements. Would you be willing to enter this den of thieves, crooks, murderers, arsonists, assassins, and everything in between? ​

  While I don’t mind crossing into more dark and mature topics, there are still some boundaries that I’d like to set in place. These are topics I would prefer to avoid. Brief mentions for plot discussion is fine, but role-playing them in full detail is an absolute NO. Similarly, if you have any triggers, I encourage you to share them as well in order to keep our RP a safe space.
